Suitable trousers for "evening casual"

Hi everyone

 

First time cruiser just curious as to what would be suitable. I've seen P&O dress code recommendations, but other than "smart dark denim" what else could be worn?

 

Chinos? Charcoal coloured trousers? (which are one half of a suit that I have)

 

With formal night I know where I stand, but with this I'm a bit gazumped!

What cruise line are we talking about? Dress codes can vary a bit. Best to ask on the board you the cruise line you are talking about.

Dark jeans, chinos, nice casual trousers you will be fine.

I wore linen trousers every night except formal night. For Smart casual night, I just added a Linen jacket to my short sleeve shirt and linen trousers. Didn't look out of place at all.

If it's got a waistband and two legs, and it's not blue jeans, it's not ripped, and both legs reach the top of your shoes, then it's fine. You won't be thrown out if your trousers are too smart.
