And fall fast asleep. :-) nothing like a good sleep with the rocking of the ship.

OK. I have to try the honey stung chicken when we board August 23. With all this hype, it better be good!

Thanks, Radio, for your "LIVE from...". I am really enjoying it. The pictures are great.

Little secret, honey stung chicken is only available in the windjammer on the first day. BUT it is available every day thru the room service menu!

Good Morning everyone. . . Welcome to Day 2 of “LIVE” on Enchantment of the Seas.

Ahhh. . .I slept like a baby last night, but I am up this morning at the crack of civilization to have a fun day.

The Viking Crown Lounge was very slow last night as I made my evening post, and it is extremely quiet today as I sit in the Radio “press room”. This morning I made my way up to the Concierge Lounge for a nice Café Americano. . .but there was a slight problem. The coffee machine was Out of Order ! What the? Who in the? No worries. . .Mrs. Radio was nice enough to pack some Starbucks Via (Veranda Blonde) in my luggage which came in very handy this morning. I am confident that the Coffee machine will be fixed very soon.

Today will be filled with many activities, and I think I will try to make it down to the Orpheum Theater by 10AM for the Bermuda Port talk. The Captains Welcome Aboard Reception will be tonight for the first Formal Night of our sailing. The Production Show, “Can’t Stop the Rock” will also be performed, and I will try to stay up for some late night comedy with Carl Banks. . .

My first day at sea will include some rest time that I will enjoy before arriving n Bermuda tomorrow. This rest time may also include a little time spent in Casino Royale. . . I will try to get a few pics of the afternoon entertainment and activities later in the day.

We are currently sailing at 20kts toward Bermuda, where we will be sharing our stay there with Norwegian Dawn who is heading to Bermuda from New York City. We still have about 515nm to go before we arrive tomorrow at 3PM.

Here are a few pics from last night and this morning. . . Thanks for the nice comments, and thanks for tuning in !

good morning mark... good to be with you again. I believe the Dawn will be in with the Bah-sten crowd. I believe she sails each and every friday from beantown. (she replaced the old Royal Majesty and the Spirit both of which you were on). the ship looks beautiful and i know you will thoroughly enjoy sharing this cruise with your DGS have a wonderful day at sea and make sure you do "rest up" in Casino Royale... lol

Radio, your comment about the pools sparkling and then needing cleaning. Can you clarify what you were saying there?

It was humor....as in after being full of people wearing copious amounts of sunscreen......no worries.....:p:D

Good morning Radio,

Good thing you had emergency Starbucks rations. I'm sitting here imagining that it's me out on deck going to Bermuda in 5 weeks. I love the ship in the early morning hours when no one is around and I love the outside decks in the evening as well for the same reason. Pictures are super as always. I rally need to check out your camera in Nov.

Hi!

Tell Bucky Happy Birthday from his fellow Mexican Chefs.

Toni and Tim

Hi Toni! I just realized you all are doing the Vision of the Seas in January - we're sailing on the Vision on February 15th...too bad we didn't have the same sailing again!

Ouch! Yes you are right. . . I'm not sure what I was thinking

Yes the Norwegian Dawn will be there from Boston. . .

Thanks for the correction. . . I need more coffee. . .

Update on "Coffegate

I was informed this morning from our lovely Concierge that workers were unable to repair the "expensive" Concierge Coffee machine in Boston or Baltimore. . .

She suggested that the machine may need to be replaced

No worries. . . The Starbucks Coffee at Cafe Latte-tudes is wonderful ;)

More pics later. . .

OMG, what a travesty. The coffee machine in the CL is broken and un-repairable. What kind of compensation should the Pinnacle Members demand?

Suck it up and be like Radio, spend a buck or two on StarBucks. Or pack VIAs like the savvy traveler does, along with their Mini Moos.

Fair Winds and Following Seas to all aboard Enchantment of the Seas, especially Rody.
