Sheffie Posted October 20, 2012 #8 Share Posted October 20, 2012 We picked up 3 fishermen (one was a woman) who had been stranded at sea for a week. Their motor had quit, and needless to say, they were very dehydrated. Thank goodness it had rained that week, or they might have died.

jocap Posted October 20, 2012 #22 Share Posted October 20, 2012 Thousands and thousands of gannets diving off Bass Rock in the Firth of Forth. Dolphins, porpoises and a whale all passing through the Straits of Gibraltar together. For some reason, hundreds of common gulls flying round the ship late at night, or settling on the water, in the English Channel. Vast fields of gas rigs and wind farms, Irish Sea.
