It's finally here... Thanks for the shout out.

 

We did our pre-pack yesterday and I weigh the suitcases today. Checked the weather for flight out about every other hour.

 

I lived in Panama for a year and a half and always marveled at the ships sailing by. I enjoy being onboard in the canal much better... :)

You have it correct... We did this same cruise in 2009 and we entered, from the Atlantic, a set of locks (Gatun Locks) VERY early and proceeded into Gatun lake. A number of guests exited and did some excursions. We later turned around and went back through the same locks to the Atlantic. We then tied up at Cristobal (Colon) and did some shopping at the pier market while the guests returned from their excursions.
