According to Marine Traffic , Oosterdam missed the scenic cruising in the NZ Fiords due to a wild weather system blowing in from the south. On leaving Dunedin she headed north and is heading for Melbourne as her next port of call. Hopefully they will outrun the bad weather as they cross the Tasman Sea.

Oh, what a shame. Of all the memorable times I had in New Zealand, the day spent in the fjords is the one I remember most fondly.

Thanks for the report TRVLCRZY. I got off the NOORDAM on Thursday morning and stayed over a day at the Hyatt at Pier 66. I watched her sail away yesterday afternoon for the SE 17th Street Bridge. I wish I had signed up to do the 11day voyage which commenced yesterday. I really enjoyed the ten day cruise. It was the first time I was on the Noordam. Have now been on all current ships except the Prrisendam. Am looking forward to the Koenigsdam.
