Luggage tags printing on two pages??

The thing they need is the bar code!

There are no barcodes on luggage tags, you are thinking about eDocs, and even then they only need the name to look up te reservation - reservation number and/or barcode makes fetching the info just a bit faster.

i just went to print mine today and this exact same thing happened to me. what i did was print page 1 first and then re-insert the same piece of paper but upside down and then print page 2 and it should all line up properly. hopefully this works for you too.

You sure its the luggage tags and not the boarding pass? Because my boarding pass printed on two pages (one almost blank except for the bar code and other page has the rest of the information) but my luggage tag printed on one page just fine. This was despite selecting printing on one page, changing the margins or shrinking it for the boarding pass.

My tags showed on 2 pages also. I toggled off the print headers and footers option and they then printed fine on 1 page without rescaling.

Same here ! Worked fine and printed good then.

I know this is an old post, but a solution is always helpful for those Googling an answer down the road. As of August 2019 I've found you can print them on 1 page on a Mac like this:

1. In Safari, change the scaling to 88% or less.

2. Use Chrome instead of Safari.

Enjoy your cruise!

Dumb question...I'm packing for my Epic cruise, and I printed off luggage tags. They printed on two pages? Huh? Print preview shows two pages...never had this happen before. I'm using Safari.

1st get a real browser. Safari, Chrome, etc are non-compliant browsers and you get whatever happens to show up when you use them.  FireFox is an excellent browser, highly recommended.
2nd your printer may well be configured incorrectly, by default the luggage tags print out the exact right size and on a single sheet.

People people - when you bring up the page(s) with your eDocs -

Look for the little suitcase in the middle right portion of the page.

Click on it and print out as many tags as you have luggage pieces.

The print out should be about a third of the 8.5x11 page with

instructions to cut along the lines and fold where fold is indicated

and then staple -

Suggest beefing up the paper thin tags on cardboard or inserting

in a plastic sandwich bag and attach it to each bag AT THE PIER.

Don't have extra tags to confuse airline tag readers traveling by air.

Something too LARGE or too small find a way to adjust the size

of the print. NCL only needs a sliver of info to get your luggage

to your cabin door !

The basics is your all important cabin number - any crew member

can tell by that where you cabin is located - your name is helpful

if tags get torn off or your luggage arrives at the naughty room

aka Lost & Found ! Have a copy of your eDocs inside your luggage.

If in a suite or Haven class cabin - your luggage tags should be

mailed to you by snail mail - uncertain how this done in foreign

countries.

Oh and it does help a bit if your luggage has a handle to attach the tag ! LOL !

The fit to page problem has to do with the default settings of your print driver.

First, use the "print this page" link on the luggage tag document being displayed.

If it still spills onto a second page, open your print settings and choose "fit to page" or find a scaling setting and reduce to around 90%.  That should do it.

I capture it using print to PDF document, then I use the snipping tool to print my name and cabin # into one neat document and print it for each piece of luggage.
