Is there a concierge lounge on Harmony?

Recommended Posts

There use to be one on Oasis but I believe it's gone now...what about

Harmony??

On the deck plans that were posted, looks like Suite Lounge (deck17) and Diamond Club (deck4) only

Where CL was on Oasis, on Harmony currently shows as Wonderland on both decks 11&12

But we all know that can all change

Happy Days!

Oh no ! Here comes a loyalty downgrade just as we earn Diamond Plus. Change the name of Concierge Lounge to Suite lounge for every new ship or at refurbishing time thereby eliminating the one valuable benefit for diamond plus members. seeking clarification from Royal Caribbean.

Just what are you seeking clarification of?

CL is no longer on Oasis...fact

Deck plans for Harmony show No CL lounge.

No changes to any other ship have been made even those that have had a drydock since Oasis.

Do you think that even if they are contemplating doing this to other ships that they are going to let you know?

You can still go to the Diamond Club. What did you get in the CL that you don't get in the DL?

On Oasis class, the CL offered made to order breakfast and lunch, plus beer and wine at lunch.

Yep, I forgot about the CL meals on Oasis class. But I have to wonder many people who, since Oasis debuted, have gone on a bunch of cruises in an attempt to earn D+ status and thereby get to have a free /breakfast lunch in the CL on the only 2 ships in the fleet that offer that? Or have a lot of existing D+ members been booking more cruises on Oasis/Allure just to get the free meals in the CL?

If that's been their focus, then ok, I guess they would be disappointed. It seems like most threads about the CL are about free happy hour drinks though. As that's the case, and since that hasn't changed on any of the ships, I still don't see what the big deal is. We had lunch once in the CL on Oasis. It was nice, but the absence of it isn't affecting my decision to cruise or not cruise on Oasis/Allure again. To each his own. :)

There is also the potential situation of a more crowded lounge for D+. For those who enjoyed the social part of the lounge experience, and therefore wanted to sit in the lounge, it will likely be more difficult to find a seat with the higher number of D and D+ in the DL as opposed to D+ and suite guests on the CL.

True, but again, and this is only my opinion, I suspect a lot of people who claim it's the "social aspect" that draws them to the lounge, really just want their free drinks (which they can still get) or the bragging rights of getting to use the "special lounge." :D

Plenty of places to socialise on an Oasis class of ship with your 3 drink vouchers loaded onto your Seapass card. Doesn't have to be in one particular lounge.

Yes but then you have to socialize with the unwashed masses, instead of just other special people who have been on 20 cruises. :D

I just received an email from RCI Switzerland/Germany/Austria with a 'flash sale' on Harmony of the Seas sailings through the 15th of June. A ship highlights link was included for Harmony with the following text.

Translated:

NEW: An englarged Diamond Club Lounge and Concierge Club with a beautiful sea view.

NEU: Erweiterte Diamond Club Lounge und Concierge Club mit einmaligem Ausblick aufs Meer**

The note translated does not mention the Concierge Club.

** The Diamond Lounge is reserved for C&A members with Diamond Status.

** Die Diamond Lounge ist reserviert für Crown & Anchor Mitglieder ab dem Status Diamond

This statement is unclear as to whether the D Lounge will have a Concierge Club attached or where this Concierge Club will have this potential sea view.

It is certainly not shown on the current deck plans released.

The international website in English now contains the text that states the D Lounge will have sea views.

•Concierge Club and Diamond Lounge**

Wonderland is also still mentioned there as well for Harmony.

**Concierge Club and new larger Diamond Lounge with ocean views.

Well, that is certainly confusing! However, we know RCI's information is frequently misleading. I believe there will be only the D lounge and the suite lounge on HOTS just as is currently the case with Oasis and Allure. But I do think that as shown on deck plans, the D lounge is way too small on both Allure and HOTS. Maybe on Oasis with the two deck D lounge that may be big enough. Can anyone recently on Oasis comment on crowding or not on her D lounge?

Here is link to show location of Diamond Lounge on deck plan of Harmony (it is in the area that was formerly the Oasis and Allure Comedy Club…the Comedy Club is where Blaze is on the Oasis and Allure:

http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruise/ships/ship/decks/deck/home.do?deckCode=04&shipCode=HM&shipProfile=1698&sailDate=1160529&hasNavigation=false

Where the Concierge Lounge used to be on the Oasis and Allure (decks 11 & 12) the Harmony deck plan shows "Wonderland".

Where the Viking Crown used to be (deck 17) the Harmony deck plan shows "Coastal Kitchen" and "Suites Lounge".

There is no "Concierge Lounge".

I don't remember there being any windows on Deck 4 where the Diamond Club will be located according to the deck plans
