Great Casino Offer!

About 3 days ago, I received a wonderful offer from Princess... 20% off cruise fare... for new bookings. I promptly cancelled my end of August cruise to Alaska - Tracy Arm, and rebooked for June 27 - Glacier Bay. And I still have some money left over from the previous cruise.

Now, that's what I call a good deal! I'm very excited! Now, we have to get ready in time!

Got that offer too and hesitated to call thinking it applied to new bookings only. Saved $600.00 off a Regal cruise that we had booked for January using FCC's.

My casino offer was 30%.

I got one for 35% off ...everyone appears to get something a bit different. I got a great deal on a cruise I had my eye on for months. Smoking deal and sails right out of my home port. I like how they attach the discount right to your card so you can check on the pricing without pulling out the calculator.

We do gamble when we cruise...but friends that don't gamble much got the same offer. Made us happy, though!! :D

Yes, I posted about it on Sunday when I noticed the low pricing http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2210264

I still don't have an official email or letter from them but I had figured out that the discounts ranged from 15% for a suite to 25% for a balcony or inside cabin + I learned I got free gratuities too when I called Princess. Crazy deals! For once it pays to gamble.

Me, too, and I've donated generously over the years :(.

You might actually have an offer and like me, not know it officially because you haven't received an email or letter. Just pull up a cruise on the Princess website, select a cabin category, and then click on a cabin that is available. If you have the offer, the new price will be displayed. It is not on the summary view, you need to actually select a cabin to see the discounted price. It won't show the additional perks you might get (free gratuities or transfer), but at least you'll be able to tell if you're eligible for the offer.

Got the email Monday - been busy or would have posted sooner. There is no promo code - it just shows up. Wife and I are linked and the discount is given to both even booking separately. No known expiration or limit at the moment.

Discount varies by cabin type and "trade"

They cancel and reissue with a new booking #

Just did 2 cruises and I didn't lose OBC and they applied FCD. But rep said if the category is sold out you may have trouble keeping a specific cabin.

You are correct! It is showing an additional 15% or so off a fall coastal that I have been watching.

I just put a hold on a RT Hawaii out of San Fransicso over thanksgiving. Got an obstructed OV (no real obstruction though, I checked the photos) for $1091. I thought that was terrific for 15 days. Regular price is about twice that. I don't gamble at all but DH does some. I know he's gotten entries into the "win a free cruise" contests they hold sometimes for casino players, so maybe that's why they connected our account to this offer. Neither of us received an email, as far as I know.

So now should we call Princess and see if we qualify for free gratuities?

What you didn't show in your snapshot, is that the offer has your CC number attached to it. That probably takes the place of the promo code, since not everyone is receiving this email.

I called Princess this morning and the representative said they had just pulled this promotion. :(

Since a lot of the deals were different, you probably shouldn't take my experience as the final word on the subject.
