MSC Seaside Interior Renderings

Add to that, the last three staterooms on the aft end of either side of the ship have their entrance at different locations.

SD ... Is this refering to the deck plans or the drawing that supposedly exists mentioned by "renysmom" ?

I wish we were allowed to share the rendering but our TA was told she couldn't share the drawing for public distribution and we are honoring that but mock ups and descriptions were okay so I created this fast mock-up of the drawing. It does list this as cabin layout for deck 15

Once she gets the okay I promise to share.

Ugh, looks like a lot of wasted space with that hallway. I'd have preferred the bath in the corner with the small window. I assume the sofa bed is beside the main bed towards the sliding door as the room is longer than in the mock up.

Thanks for the image.

I agree Ate' is seems like a terrible waste of space but they are limited with option of positioning for the bathroom due to waste considerations.

Hi all!

I cruise DCL, CCL (newer ships, booked Vista Havana Cabana), RCCL and Haven on NCL.

I decided to do the loyalty match with NCL/MSC and now Black status and booked

Seaside for February 2019 in the Yacht Club.

I booked cabin 16004. I'm leaving my family at home and sailing with my mom, who is a cruise snob but we both never tried MSC. I believe we won't venture out too much, only at night for dinners and/or outdoor

bar areas.

I believe we have full access to the YC as well as the spa. Does that sound correct? On the Seaside, it looks like the YC offerings (bar, lounge, pool, restaurant) are all together on the same side of the ship, different than Divina. Does that sound correct? (We always book weekly spa passes when we sail together and think this was included.) I also understand that our alcohol is included.

How many specialty restaurants will Seaside have on her? Between MSC OBC and my TA, I have $525 in OBC for our sailing. For those that have sailed MSC before, do you anticipate a problem of my booking the specialty restaurants onboard so I can use my OBC since if we have alcohol and the spa pass included, I'm not sure what else we can spend it on since we won't be using the casino, although maybe a treatment. I'm hoping if in the YC, they will set aside some time slots in the restaurants for when we board and meet with the concierge as they do on NCL Haven. Do you agree? The only places that we won't be able to access are the Aurea area?

Also, we will be sailing to MSC's new island and I haven't been able to read too much about this place. We are just beach people so would love to rent a cabana on the island. Has this been mentioned or talked about? While talking about cabanas, I SURE hope there are umbrellas or some sort of shade on the Seaside by the pool, not just cabanas where I have to stress to try to get one. While I love to be out in the sun, we both need to be covered with shade.

Is the YC in the back of the ship for front? YIKES, that is such a newbie question LOL and do you think my

cabin location is a good one....16004?

Looking forward to reading more about the Seaside and thank you so much for the last few pictures that were posted. I haven't been able to see any of the prior ones that have been listed.

Thank you all so much!

I will be better able to answer your questions when I return from my B2B in January. For now all I can tell you is what has happened on the Divina. You are correct about the Yacht Club and the spa. All of the Yacht Club amenities are together at the front of the ship on decks 16, 17, 18 and 19. When staying in the Yacht Club most drinks are free at all of the bars on the ship. There will be several specialty restaurants and renderings for them can be found on MSC's website. Unfortunately the ship is still under construction so we don't know anything for sure. The private island is also under construction and there is even less known about it. Fortunately you have over a year to get answers to all of your questions. 16004 is the second cabin from the front on the starboard side and very close to the Topsail lounge. Again I will take photos and notes when I am aboard this January. Check out my Cruise Website to see the information I have found.

Good luck trying to relax on deck 17! Need to have MSC get over their superstition!

I will be in a Fantastica Balcony cabin the first week and the Yacht Club the second week so I should experience all the Seaside has to offer. Bob

ps - The deckplans are still evolving, but I'll try and keep the website updated as it gets closer to my cruise.

It looks like they merely copied the same basic floorplan of a smaller balcony stateroom into this larger suite. I am not sure if there were any plumbing concerns or restrictions with which they had to contend. If they were able to move the bathroom, perhaps they could have created a larger, or separate sitting area. No matter, these will be coveted suites for their location, verandas and views. As it is, the hallway reminds me of a penthouse entrance, and lends a bit more privacy.

Generally speaking, guests can use credits to pay for gratuities, spa services, additional specialty dining, excursions, ship tour, photography (pictures or equipment), bingo, casino, a nice bottle of wine or champagne, onboard shopping (lots of 3rd party vendors, plus MSC logo shop and duty free shop), bowling, 4D simulator, etc.

Additional options currently available on the Divina - which may, or may not be available on the Seaside - include Wine Blending and Wine Tasting (La Cantina di Bacco).

Remember, if you purchase something online - it will be charged to your credit card - so you cannot use your shipboard credit, except for items purchased while onboard the ship.

Great thread. I have a very specific question and I was hoping to find an answer here. We are in 12101. I'm concerned about the "blank space" across the hallway. I try to avoid these areas because they are often noisy work areas for the crew. However, this "blank space" is connected to some type of interior hallway. The interior hallway leads to a set of steps that I presume are for crew only. Other decks above/below show the same type of interior space. Does anyone know if this is crew area?

Looks like it leads to interior cabins that are most likely for crew. These cabins could be for entertainers and such. I saw musicians and dancers coming out of similar cabins on passenger decks on NCL this spring.

End stage digestive product just hit the oscillating rotary ventilation device.

Just had to cancel aft cabin 14262 on Seaside for 1/13/18 & 1/20/18.

So, that's available.......

Cuervosar ... shame you will not be in the same cabin after us ... :(

Sidari,

If that's what caused him to cancel, maybe you don't want him so close! :D

He would have been on after us ... :D

Just had a look at the deck plans for your suite, Dave. I mean ............. I knew you'd nabbed one of the aft ones. WOW ................ it looks incredible!

I'd been meaning for a long time to go back through the thread, but it kept growing and I was following Meraviglia's progress - for obvious reasons, so I really didn't quite get what you'd booked.
