luvbluseas Posted January 29, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2016 For those of you that have sailed on the Reflection, may I ask what her version of the "Ant Room" is? Does anyone have any pictures of it? Thank you!

Rare cruisestitch Posted January 29, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2016 Each s class ship has a small art walk through between the atrium area and the specialty dining/Ensemble area. The Eclipse has something that looks like NewYork in an ice age. Each ship is different.

tangerinebunny Posted January 29, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 29, 2016 These are my favorite places on any Celebrity ship. Love the one on Silhouette best.
cyntil8ing Posted January 29, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 29, 2016 I thought I had a photo, but I can't find it. It was a few years ago; I don't remember anything other than it was dark, underwater feel and there was a bell that rang. DH and I couldn't decide if the bell was timed or on a motion sensor. He went late at night when no one was around and the bell still rang. Here is the Silhouette's version.
prim8keeper Posted January 29, 2016 #8 Share Posted January 29, 2016 I couldn't find my photo from Solstice, but here are the others. The Reflection image is not mine, but one posted by X. Equinox Eclipse Sillhouette Reflection
luvbluseas Posted January 30, 2016 Author #9 Share Posted January 30, 2016 Have never heard of an "ant room". Please explain:confused: On each of the Solstice ships there is a 3D Art Room that you walk through on your way to the Ensemble Lounge and Blu and the Specialty Restaurants. On the Solstice her "art room" has 'ants' on the floor and walls. If you have seen it you will never forget it. DH and I LOVE it and every time we sail on a 'new to us' Solstice Class ship we can't wait to see the "Ant Room". Always fun for us!:D

Equinox Eclipse Sillhouette Reflection Interesting thread. I wasn't sure what to expect from the title. Thanks for posting the pictures. We'll be Cruising on the Eclipse 3 April 2016. Cool looking (pun intended). We will be checking this out.
prim8keeper Posted January 30, 2016 #12 Share Posted January 30, 2016 Thank you, so very much!!! For posting these pictures! I will treasure them, and it really adds to our anticipation for our upcoming Reflection cruise! The room on Reflection was probably my least favorite, hence my lack of a photo. Overall it seemed as though all of the art on Reflection was slightly different than the other ships. Make sure to go see the painting outside of Blu across from the entrance to Tuscan. Interesting thread. I wasn't sure what to expect from the title. Thanks for posting the pictures. We'll be Cruising on the Eclipse 3 April 2016. Cool looking (pun intended). We will be checking this out. Of all the S class ships I think Eclipse is probably my favorite in terms of art and design. Silhouette is a close second though! I have a photo review in my signature from our last cruise on Eclipse with more photos.

misha1 Posted January 31, 2016 #15 Share Posted January 31, 2016 (edited) Seems to me that the Solstice had like cricket chirping or something. Lovely Ante room, I always stopped to enjoy on my way through. Edited January 31, 2016 by misha1

I&J Cruisers Posted January 31, 2016 #17 Share Posted January 31, 2016 DH always calls that space "the dark hallway" on all the S class ships. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Rare pierces Posted July 21, 2016 #19 Share Posted July 21, 2016 We've been on the Solstice and the Reflection and are sailing on the Equinox next year. These rooms serve no practical use or function. They just are...which is probably why I like them so much! Here are a few contributions: Solstice "Ant Room" Reflection's "Bell-Flower Room" Now, the long wait for the next one...
SeagoingMom Posted July 21, 2016 #20 Share Posted July 21, 2016 So, the OP actually really did mean to type "ant room," not "art room," or "ante room," and not every ship has ants in the room, but they all have an ante room with art in it? Do I have that right???
KW Cruisers Posted July 21, 2016 #21 Share Posted July 21, 2016 I also really enjoy these rooms on the Solstice class ships! Kudos to Celebrity for using this space to create something beautiful and artistic in lieu of adding a few more tables to the Ensemble Lounge. We all need a little more art and beauty in our lives ;-)
WestLakeGirl Posted July 21, 2016 #22 Share Posted July 21, 2016 Yes it was an ant room Also an art room. and an ante room. Very clever spaces
Rare Essiesmom Posted July 21, 2016 #23 Share Posted July 21, 2016 I've sailed Solstice and Silhouette, and never knew they were there. Probably because we don't eat in specialty restaurants, and have only done Aqua on Infinity. I think we mustered in those areas on Solstice, but I don't remember ants...EM
