qsuzi Posted February 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) This Cruise Critic post matches descriptions of the different Myers-Briggs personality types to Cruise Lines. Which Cruise Line is your best match? My outcome: Regent Seven Seas and HAL. http://www.cruisecritic.com/v-2/articles.cfm?ID=2155&UTM_Source=Social&UTM_Medium=Facebook&UTM_Campaign=Features&UTM_Content=Cruise Edited February 17, 2016 by qsuzi

Rare Vict0riann Posted February 17, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 17, 2016 Mine was Cunard. Actually we started cruising with Cunard, but progressed to HAL!
luvteaching Posted February 17, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 17, 2016 Mine was HAL too! I've found a good fit. It was interesting to take the test and to read the results.
cruz chic Posted February 17, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 17, 2016 Ok, this is weird. I haven't done the Meyers Briggs for many years so I just did it again. My type has changed dramatically from my earlier life. Turns out now I'm holland America.
kftw Posted February 17, 2016 #9 Share Posted February 17, 2016 Celebrity for me.
islandblue Posted February 17, 2016 #10 Share Posted February 17, 2016 I'm supposedly ISFJ - which matches with Holland - and they say only 12% of us in the population are this type... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
AZNative2000 Posted February 17, 2016 #11 Share Posted February 17, 2016 Thanks qsuzi for a fun "test". There was more than one answer for me, depending on the mood when choosing the letters. I can be a happy HAL, Celebrity, or Cunard cruiser, again, depending on mood.:) Cheers!
Cruising-along Posted February 17, 2016 #12 Share Posted February 17, 2016 HAL for me! :D

OlsSalt Posted February 17, 2016 #14 Share Posted February 17, 2016 Ha, this was right on. Cunard for DH and International Expeditions for me - compromise between the two of us would be HAL. With a few Voyages of Discovery thrown in to cover all bases.
teamflames Posted February 17, 2016 #15 Share Posted February 17, 2016 Ha, this was right on. Cunard for DH and International Expeditions for me - compromise between the two of us would be HAL. With a few Voyages of Discovery thrown in to cover all bases. Apparently I'm Cunard and the DW is NCL - haha:eek:
Beejay4016 Posted February 17, 2016 #16 Share Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) Mine is Celebrity, which I see as the best alternative to HAL. I'm fascinated to see what my husband's pairing comes out as. Oops, he is Lindblad Expeditions. So, while I am having my hair and make-up done in the beauty salon he would be tearing around adventurous spots in a Zodiac wearing Arctic gear, and loving it. Krazy Kruizers Posted February 17, 2016 #17 Share Posted February 17, 2016 Cunard for us. Wish they had cruises in the Caribbean like they did back in the 80's.

shrimp56 Posted February 17, 2016 #19 Share Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) Celebrity. But I didn't retake M-B and may have mis-remembered. Should take it again and report back. ----- I have sailed Celebrity and will again. But I love the "Dutchness" of HAL. If they lose that then I may stray. Rare puppycanducruise Posted February 17, 2016 #20 Share Posted February 17, 2016 Well, that was interesting. The test says HAL is for me, and I agree.
Rare 3rdGenCunarder Posted February 17, 2016 #21 Share Posted February 17, 2016 I'm Carnival??????????????????????????????????????????What a joke! Only one letter matches Cunard, my favorite line. Only two match HAL, my second favorite. This is why the HAL connection with AFAR doesn't impress me. I have very little faith in these computer "tests" to match you up with something. I'm not opposed to the Myers-Briggs, it's the way it's used to make assumptions about people.
Happily@Sea Posted February 17, 2016 #22 Share Posted February 17, 2016 It says mine is Cunard, but I have neither the wardrobe nor the desire for dressing up. I will be on the QM2 in June, let's see how comfortable I am on it. In the olden days, I probably would have been happy in steerage. :) The type that is closest to mine - when I'm in an emotional mood - is HAL. Big surprise. solocanadian Posted February 17, 2016 #23 Share Posted February 17, 2016 I'm happy to see that others also had fun with this. I had fun. Thanks for link. I'm Cunard. Wish they would come to Vancouver. :)
Aquahound Posted February 17, 2016 #24 Share Posted February 17, 2016 I'm Carnival??????????????????????????????????????????What a joke! I guess the results aren't perfect. Mine said NCL, which is my least favorite of the lines I've sailed.
SaguaroGal Posted February 17, 2016 #25 Share Posted February 17, 2016 I am Viking Ocean Cruise and DH is Cunard. But we are true blue HAL never-the-less. Fun post!
