capriccio Posted March 31, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 31, 2016 (edited) Arriving day of cruise early on a Sat am. Is there a duty free that sells bottles of wine? We don't want to pack it. I always thought that duty free was for passengers flying on outbound international flights only not arrivals (and you have to provide your boarding pass as proof). According to the airport's official website (http://www.totalwine.com/store-info/florida-fort-lauderdale/904), duty free shops are located For passengers traveling on international flights, Duty Free Kiosks are located in: Terminal 2 on Concourse D Terminal 3 on Concourses E and F Terminal 4 on Concourse H Alternatively, ask your driver (assuming you are taking a cab or Uber) to stop at Total Wine in the Harbor Shops shopping center en route to the port. They open at 9 am on Saturdays and have a wonderful selection and very reasonable prices. You can even pre-order and they will have it ready when you arrive. http://www.totalwine.com/store-info/florida-fort-lauderdale/904. If you are arriving even earlier the Publix Grocery store located right next to Total Wine has (for a grocery store) a good selection of wines. They open at 7 am on Saturdays. Rare Keith1010 Posted March 31, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 31, 2016 I am not aware of any shop at the airport that sells wine. There is total wine that is right near the Fort Lauderdale port. I would go there. Keith
JohninDC Posted March 31, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 31, 2016 You can pre-order your wine/soda/water at Total Wine, making for a quick stop while your cab meter is running.

Rare silentbob007 Posted April 1, 2016 #6 Share Posted April 1, 2016 FLL is a tiny airport (for the amount of traffic) without much in the way of stores/amenities.

Based on your location it appears you will be flying domestically and you cannot shop in airport duty free shops.

Yes but you will not be able to access the duty free prices because you are not flying outside the US. Agree with the others, go to Total Wine.
