Rare ski ww Posted June 29, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 29, 2016 Watched on the news when the new locks opened for the first time the other day. We did the Canal cruise a few years ago, it would be nice to cruise again to see the new locks. Allan

Viesczy Posted June 29, 2016 #11 Share Posted June 29, 2016 Great link! It is amazing what we, as a species, can do when putting our brains and wallets to use! Okay, I completely want to play "stupid captions" with a bunch of those pics, but I am sure the mods were pull down my posts. Just some inoffensive comedy gold bubbling right now! Boatdrill Posted July 1, 2016 #15 Share Posted July 1, 2016 (edited) Not as good as the photos in the article but here they are. These gates were HUGE, and it was an amazing opportunity to see them pre-installation. Photo taken from the prom deck of the Veendam. Thank you sspunk for the how-to on posting photos !
