rpp77 Posted July 24, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2016 We'll be sailing on Allure in February and the Brother-in-law will be bringing his family as well, they'll be staying in a Royal Loft Suite. (Officially Jealous!!!) Just wondering what Suite benefits we'll be able to share along with them. I believe someone stated that we can tag-along for priority boarding, right? But are we able to dine in the Coastal Kitchen as well? Any other special benefits that are or aren't shareable with us "Normal" passengers??? I think you pretty much got the ones I think you can share. Enjoy the cabin, it is a good one. We have stayed in the RLS on Oasis on two occasions and will be in the one on Allure in the near future. There is a link to a cabin review of the RLS on Oasis in my signature, if you want to read about it. This was pre-genie. Our upcoming one on Allure will be with Genie. Keep your eyes open for a live review.

gerif Posted July 24, 2016 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2016 You might be able to join them for priority boarding. If Coastal Kitchen isn't busy they may have guests occasionally for dinner. That's about the only perks you might be able to share.
spookwife Posted July 24, 2016 #5 Share Posted July 24, 2016 Dinner only if there is space. Now that there are genies and personal escorts, do not count on being able to board with them. Want suite perks, book a suite.

Ken at the beach Posted July 24, 2016 #7 Share Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) Thanks everyone, Never having been before, what is the big draw of the "Coastal Kitchen"? Better food, service and a nicer atmosphere than the MDR and it's free for suites. It's like a specialty restaurant but free. True...............guests are not always a given......earlier this month,we were not allowed to bring guests since there were so many suite pax.. cb at sea Posted July 24, 2016 #9 Share Posted July 24, 2016 Unless you PAY for a suite, and the perks the afford, boarding is the only extra you can partake. Sorry! You can join them in THEIR suite for room service meals, if they are of a mind to do so...

Rare crusinthrough Posted July 25, 2016 #11 Share Posted July 25, 2016 (edited) Dinner only if there is space. Now that there are genies and personal escorts, do not count on being able to board with them. Want suite perks, book a suite. Non suite guests can usually board with suite guests. Admittedly, this may differ with the Genie. Although I doubt this is the case, as a Genie is there to make things you want happen. I'm sure if you want non suite guests to join you when boarding the Genie can make it happen. Not sure what would happen with non suite guests luggage but they can probably get on the ship 10 min earlier than non suites passengers. OP- In my experience, CK is usually not busy after 8:30. If you want to dine with your BIL, I suggest making dinner reservations later in the evening. Beware that the suite police will probably have a few comments. Want suite perks, book a suite. That's only what you believe. I've been personally escorted on the ship by the Concierge and was able to bring on others that were traveling with us. Not a problem. karmacats Posted July 25, 2016 #15 Share Posted July 25, 2016 something else that i don't think has been mentioned - on labadee, if the suite guests purchase a cabana on the suite beach, they can bring non-suite guests to the cabana. afaik, that's the only way non-suite guests can go to the suite beach (except maybe pinnacles?). the cabana only holds up to 6, so that may not work if you have a large family traveling together. we often travel in suites with non-suite guests. usually we travel with one other friend, so we take her through suite checkin with us so she's not waiting alone. if we travel with a large party, we just meet them onboard. we also routinely bring guests to coastal kitchen for dinner, but they do reserve the right to refuse guests if there is not room. we usually eat late - around 8:30 or 9 pm - so it's never been an issue. when it's available (usually normal meal hours) you can also order room service from the MDR for everyone, as long as it's delivered to the suite. non-suite guests are not supposed to join in CK at breakfast or lunch, be in the suite lounge, on the suite sundeck, or in the suite seats in the theaters before they open them up to everyone. not to say these things don't happen occasionally, but those seem to be the official rules and are fairly strictly enforced.
