Fantastic pictures!

Thank you.

Really enjoying your spot, thanks. And for our group of 4, your/our timing is impeccable - we board the Radiance on Friday.

Thank you!

I hope you have as much fun as we are having. [emoji2]

Love the pics! We are going to be getting on when you are getting off!

1 question - what are most folks wearing on the cruise ship itself? Like at night and in the MDR.

Very casual, much more jeans than I have seen before. Even for formal night, suits were in the minority.

WOW, what a crab leg!! We so enjoyed our time in Juneau & with Harv & Marv glad you did as well. Thank you for bringing back so many memories from our past trips to Alaska and memories from the Radiance in her first year some 14 years ago. We absolutely love your story about your trip, thanks again.

If you have time, stop by the Office Bar In Hoonah for some fresh Dungeness crab.

The owners hubby was cooking them fresh to order outside the bar. Got to love a menu that consists of only chowder and crab!!! Great views, too.

Always enjoy your reviews. You and Marie are the reason why we have booked a Hawaii cruise. Thank you!!!

PS agree, this will be the start of more cruises to Alaska.

Mmmm...yes they were indeed good! We went there on both our 8/5

and 8/12 cruise we just came back from! :)

The place I picked for dinner was Thorn's Showcase Lounge, borderline dive but a great dive. Warning, you better like buttoned vinyl.

This is the home of the "bucket of butts". That's 30 pieces of halibut. Since Marie was having some other seafood dish I just got the conservative basket of butts.

Good food, good beer and early Pink Floyd on the sound system. Life is good.

Loved it! I had the Halibut basket. Best I have ever had! Very light

breading (not the heavy dough type you find most places) plus the

seafood chowder. Yums!!

Getting close

Wow!! You had a beautiful sunny day!! That's great!!

Our northbound leg stop at Hubbard was all cold, spitting rain, and drizzle.

We did not see much calving at all due to the cold. :( Was better

on the southbound leg though.

I don't know how I missed this thread, but I am now officially caught up!

As usual, stunning photos, Bill:) Thanks for taking us along! Alaska has been on my bucket list for awhile, but I think this fantastic review has sealed the deal for me.

Looking forward to more!

Chris

Thank's everyone for the kind words. The Wifi is down on the ship while in Skagway due to the mountains. At least that is their excuse. Here is a couple pics from my phone and I will catch up later.

I captured the important points of the day. Finding beer in the Yukon and bring Marie back to the ship.

Hi, sorry for the delay but the wifi was out in Skagway. I finally got pictures uploaded. I will post a few now then we need to leave for our excursion here in Icy Strait Point so I will finish up this afternoon.

We took a train ride today up into the Yukon. Actually the ride up was by bus and the return from Frasier was by train. Nice day which means no rain.
