Fort Lauderdale....

We have a group of 10 that will be sailing from Port Everglades in March. We're looking for cheap lodging, either all together or 3 families separately. We will have a vehicle so even farther north would be fine. We usually stay at the Renaissance or Embassy but want to keep it cheap this time. Any ideas?

Just look down the board. Many threads with hotel recommendations, including budget type locations.

Nothing will be cheap in March! But since you have transportation you might look at superior small lodgings along the beach from North Fort Lauderdale thru Lauderdale-by-the Sea and Pompano Beach as far north as Deerfield Beach https://www.sunny.org/hotels/ssl/.

Since you do have a vehicle check out the Hampton Inn in Plantation, it's around $184. Also think about booking the Hyatt Place on 17th Street thru valuetrips.com I booked this hotel for our group in March for $219.

Go to hotwire and look at hotels in Plantation, Sawgrass, Hollywood Beach, LBTS, and Dania.

 

That is going to be the cheapest way.
