Thought this controversial "new bow design" was only for new Majestic Princess Far East Market? JMO - this rather indistinguishable (flowing hair?) logo looks like the highly decorated NCL IKEA equipped ships. Hopefully Princess will not further ruin it's clean classy crisp white hulls - more is less.

Indistinguishable?? The Seawitch logo is one of the more recognizable cruising company logos.

I really do not like it at all and do not think there is any need to waste money painting it on all the ships.

If Princess really want to go in this direction then what is wrong with leaving the existing ships paint as it already is and phasing it in with all new ships being painted in this new way. That way it comes in slowly and does not ruin the look of the ships that people have known for years as their second home when they are on holidays.

I saw photos of Majestic Princess and my first thought was that maybe it was a design meant for the Asian market since that is where she will sail. I am sorry to hear that they are adding it to other ships. At least it is not quite as tacky as Norwegian; they are really bad. There is no way that elegance can be indicated with such "fun" stuff plastered on the bow and down the sides.

The powers-that-be must have decided that style isn't to be in their lexicon any more. But that doesn't fit, as Royal/Regal certainly have style and elegance in their piazzas, dining rooms and specialty restaurants. Their theatres are another matter, however....
