Pacificlander Posted January 13, 2017 #51 Share Posted January 13, 2017 Those gift certificates are not redeemable on board. They must be redeemed well before your cruise either by applying them to your cruise fare (not in your case, since you are paid in full) or as OBC. Sent from my iPhone using Forums Yes I know. I redeemed them as OBC online a week or so ago!
WAVTAM Posted January 14, 2017 #52 Share Posted January 14, 2017 Another question Carol...Thanks for the Diamond list. See photo ...that's great. Don't understand Internet usage. One does not get a set amount of minutes to use thru the length of the cruise. One gets on 24 hours usage??? Don't understand that logit. That doesn't bode well with a 12 day run. Merion_Mom Posted January 14, 2017 Author #53 Share Posted January 14, 2017 You will be getting off as we get on!!! Make sure you leave her in good shape. Just thought of some more questions: What about guest entertainers? Do you have a tribute band on board? What about bands in the music hall? I know this can change from cruise to cruise but hoping that there are things to do after late seating dinner. Thanks again. We have the Beatlemaniacs this cruise!!!!!!! :) :) :) :)

Arzeena Posted January 16, 2017 #61 Share Posted January 16, 2017 I believe the free photo is still part of the Diamond (and above) coupons. Yes it is and I can confirm that. (Jan 2 - 14 cruise). One free photo per diamond (and above) member.

CruisingChick Posted January 16, 2017 #64 Share Posted January 16, 2017 (edited) If they don't trip themselves up, 2 and 13. Sent from my iPhone using Forums I think there's a typo in there because the cruise is only 12 nights. So did you mean night 11 (as opposed to 13)? Just realized night 11 on our cruise is the Super Bowl, so I assume they would do nights 2 and 10. On another note, does anyone know what they do for the Super Bowl? Thanks. ThirstyCruiser Posted January 16, 2017 #65 Share Posted January 16, 2017 If you happen to lunch again with someone whose uniform contains stripes, can you mention the curious number of people reporting charges to their credit cards days after their final statement on board shows a zero balance? That it seems related to a charge for 2 bottles of water.
Clarea Posted January 16, 2017 #66 Share Posted January 16, 2017 ... On another note, does anyone know what they do for the Super Bowl?... Irishdi Posted January 16, 2017 #70 Share Posted January 16, 2017 Hi, this is our 1st cruise on Royal Caribbean and I was wondering whether it is worth it to purchase the drink package for $46.00 a day? I usually have a glass or 2 of wine with dinner and maybe another one during the evening. My husband will just have 2 beers so not sure if I could get his 2 beers with my card. Are glasses of wine very expensive onboard? Thanks for your advice. We are leaving on 1/26.

First, they cannot be shared, so you would each have to get your own package. With only 2 or 3 drinks per package, it would be less expensive to buy drinks singly. RRLLAL Posted January 17, 2017 #74 Share Posted January 17, 2017 In the casino, if you get cash on your SeaPass account, they now hand you cash. No more slot machine vouchers. (I make my SeaPass account a cash account, so they don't charge me the 5% fee. Then I put my credit card on my account at Guest Services before the end of the cruise.) Can you explain this more to a newbie?
Merion_Mom Posted January 17, 2017 Author #75 Share Posted January 17, 2017 Can you explain this more to a newbie? Anyone can get cash in the casino. It's like a cash advance on your credit card. But they will charge you a 5% fee for the privilege. If you make you onboard account a cash account - when you check in online at 90 days before your cruise, don't add a credit card. Check off "cash account" - then when you go to the casino and ask for cash, they will not charge the 5%. Up until you have $500 in charges on your SeaPass account on board, nothing happens. Then they call you and ask you to either put down cash or put down a credit card. In the meantime, you have gotten the cash without a fee. NOW you put down your credit card. :)
