Craziest thing you've seen another passenger do

Several years ago, we sailed on RCI from San Juan to the southern Caribbean . There were 2 gentlemen who had done a t/a and were aboard for 6 months. They shared an inside cabin. They dressed in white suits and red shoes. They always arrived at the dining room 15 minutes late and insisted on being escorted to their table by the same crew member. The crew described them as "flamboyant"!

Do keep reading, chuchycruise. There are opportunities for outbursts of laughter at least until page 22.

Hilarious 😝😝

Have been reading religiously each night this week, one of the funniest threads on CC to date but some posters are really sucking the life out of it now, shame

Please keep the funnies coming for the love of God, I've 2 smallies under 3 and the laughter has been my therapy this week 😜

Disembarking Equinox in November there was an elderly couple in the lounge waiting to our numbers to be called. They were carrying the blue X tote bags filled with ship's toilet paper. Odd, for sure, but kind of sad.

That is sad indeed. Nice, soft TP is one of the only reasons we are glad to come home after a cruise. ;)

Currently on the Equinox and the occupant of the Penthouse Suite next door has been playing Mary Had A Little Lamb badly on their piano for the past hour which we can hear through the wall. It's 11:30PM, think it's time for Mary to put that lamb to bed!

Time to breakout the bluetooth speaker and blast some bagpipe music!;p

Hope our neighbors didn't mind my two minutes of Heart and Soul yesterday...it is just so hard to resist ; )

On a recent cruise, there was an elderly lady in a wheel chair (mostly for convenience) who had a REALLY scraggly old lap dog (shiatzu or something) wearing a vest. We had seen her around several times throughout the cruise and always with her husband pushing her around.

Finally we were in the elevator with several other people and this lady w/husband got on the elevator. Someone in the crowd asked her,

"What service does your dog provide to you?"

And she said,

"I sometimes have dizzy spells, and if I fall down, the dog will bark until someone comes to help me up."

Before I could stop my tongue, the words popped out,

"Your Husband is standing right there! Can't he bark until someone comes to help?"

You thought this was funny?

Well, smack me with a wet noodle and send me overboard! Yup, I chuckled when I read it, and so did my husband when I read it to him. He uses a wheelchair but our dog does not wear a service vest nor does he sit on my husbands lap when we go out.

What is funny is the spontaneity of the posters remark. Ya know, sometimes things just come out. A while back there was a long thread about service dogs on ships......not seeing eye dogs or any other dog truly trained to help the disabled......but those owners who misuse the concept of emotional support dog by buying a vest and certificate online for a minimal amount and then taking their dog everywhere. It seems to me that fellow passengers who encountered this couple with their "scraggly old dog" thought that just maybe this couple fell under the category of misusing the concept of service dog.

And for the record, I am not criticizing the old dog. Our West Highland terrier is pushing 16 years and is a "scraggly old dog." We will leave him home with a caregiver next time we sail.

Not a passenger but a crew member. My wife broke her ankle on the first day of a ten day cruise. Well this cruise was full and all the wheelchairs were spoken for so my wife was given a set of crutches. We were in the casino with one of our favorite dealers( who we had cruised with several times). The dealer comes back from a break with a wheelchair saying she found it in the slot area and my wife could use it for the rest of the cruise. As I look at the wheelchair I notice a tag property of so and so ( not celebrity). I tell the dealer who freaks out worried about repercussions. I take the wheelchair back to the area she found it and sure enough there is a older lady perplexed where why I had her wheelchair. I told her I saw some kids playing with it and was just bringing it back.

On a side note the doctor , medical staff and captain were great. The first stop the captain went ashore and bought a wheelchair so my wife could be enjoy our trip. The doctor and medical staff set my wife's ankle with no issues.

I wonder if she's now going around telling people how it's another example of how parents don't watch their kids on cruise ships and how rotten it is to cruise with them :)

I just want to say that I have nothing against seeing boobs. Well, most of the time ;)

Me, either. Good thing, too, because at my age I see my own set every time I get out of the shower... and I'm a man. Ah, age and gravity...

Ok I topped my craziest this cruise. Went in to see a show. Woman laid a scarf across 6 seats, sat elderly parents in next 2 then got a child to lie across the next 3 with their iPad. Across the aisle they then laid a scarf across 5 more seats and 3 kids sat in the next 3. When the adults eventually arrived, the kids decided they wanted to sit at the front anyway and emptied 4 of the seats leaving the scarf there. Eventually another passenger handed it to them. I was so amazed I have now a photo of the first scarf in my holiday photos

My first cruise was a few years ago on NCL Epic. I was lying around the pool with my teenage daughter in The Haven while my son and husband were at the waterslides. I looked up as a woman was walking by, we made eye contact and I said "hello". Five minutes later the woman came up to me and said "it looks like you have a situation!". I had a minor sunburn from not distributing my sunscreen properly. I said that I did but it's not bothering me. She then asks me to rub sunscreen on her back! She was wearing a one piece that had a huge U shape in the back. I was taken so off guard, I did it, I rubbed the sunscreen on her back. I was so grossed out, my daughter was killing herself laughing. When I was done, the woman asked me to do her arms!!! She can most definitely do her own arms, but I did it!
