Live on Allure of the Seas - 4/30/17

Does anyone know if the $64 on board price for the deluxe package includes the tips or is it $64 + tips on top of that? Thanks to anyone that can ask while onboard.

It only makes sense that it is the price prior to gratuities. The other prices are the same or close to the online prices before gratuities so it would make no sense to show one price including gratuities and the others before gratuities.

Canadian Mom will be able to tell us.

Those prices look like they already include the gratuity. Was that flyer from a ship cruising out of Europe or Australia?

The bartender said it included gratuity. This was taken on the Allure this week out of Fort Lauderdale. I will ask another bartender to see if I get a different answer. It is just about $55 + 18%. I paid $54 + grat precruise for Deluxe w/ "free" voom so it works out about right

We are in Falmouth today but decided to stay onboard to enjoy the pool deck!

Lifeguards are out in full force!

Last week on Allure I saw a lifeguard staring at an empty pool one evening. But I am glad that they are there.

Some friends on the ship with us said they saw a drill where someone dropped a doll of a baby into the pool to measure the lifeguard's response time. Within seconds whistles were blown and all heck broke loose.

I am also glad they are here. We do not have little ones (only child is 15) but totally appreciate them. Ideally they will never even need to get wet, but I think it is a worthwhile investment in passenger safety. I would gladly pay a little extra for my cruise to cover the expense of the guards if it could mean a life could be saved :)

Thank you soooo much for all the info and the Cruise Compasses.

I copied the Pub Crawl list and sent it to the group of 10 of us that'll be on the Allure June 11th. LOL. We have a goal to 'Hit 'em ALL!'

You've been so helpful. Thank you again.

Morning Canadian Disney Mom....

Thanks for such a great live review!!! Miss the Allure, was on her when she was brand-new!!

We're sailing on the Harmony in just 2 short weeks, and just looked at your Cruise Compasses, but I don't see a listing for NHL playoffs onboard anywhere??? Can you please let me know if ON-Air or the Irish/English Pub is playing any of the hockey playoff games???

Thanks in Advance and please enjoy the rest of your vacation!!!

We went to the Eagle Tribute band last night - wow!! Here is a video of their Hotel California

So I have a pet peeve about shows and some fellow patrons. For the most part, cruise shows are 45 minutes or so. If you do not have the patience to sit through it, then don't go. If you do go and think you might want to/ have to leave early, then for goodness sake, do not sit in the front or even in the orchestra at all! There is nothing more annoying to fellow guests or passengers then leaving early in clear view of the band and the entire theatre. These are small venues - the band plainly sees you and it is really is rude. These performers have spent decades perfecting their act, the least you can do is commit to 45 minutes!!

Rant over...

They sound good, I wish they were on the 5/14 sailing too. I just checked their website and they aren't. With our luck, we will have Ronn Lucas again.:(

100% agree with this! So rude and really no excuse for it.

If you email RCL they should be able to tell you who the acts will be on your cruise. The address is web_reservations@rccl.com

Just had a bit of a "mini Quest" in the pub. It was called "Cian's Irish Shin-Dig". Some of the same games that were done at quest when I went to it on Liberty. Really fun!!

Just don't get your hopes up too high until you are actually on the ship. On one cruise I was ecstatic about the fabulous flute player who was supposed to be the headliner. This was confirmed two weeks before we sailed, but he didn't appear, and there was no explanation.

Thanks for posting all the menus and compasses! We are sailing soon and I have been told the drink package only includes drinks up to $12. It seems by the menu most drinks are $13. Are you being charged for everything over $12 or over $13?
