Rare Cruisegirl6 Posted May 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2017 My other half received a complimentary balcony cabin using a casino offer on our cruise on the Harmony last week. There is a list of cruises that are on the list and we chose one. My question, this is the first time this ever happened to us on this cruise line, those who have received this free cruise, have you been given another free cruise while sailing on the first casino complimentary one? I wonder how often these offers are given, it was very very nice of RC.
klfrodo Posted May 25, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 25, 2017 as long as your gambling stays within their criteria, you'll continue to receive offers. Once your play drops below the current level, the offers will decrease

bmac1 Posted May 25, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2017 As long as you accumulate 4,500 points or more in the casino you will get the free balcony offer. We just got the same deal while cruising on a free casino balcony room on the Grandeur.
Rare Cruisegirl6 Posted May 25, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted May 25, 2017 Wow thank you for that info. No restrictions there is a list of cruises 50 to be exact, of 3-7 might sailings from ports- Bayonne, Galveston, Seattle, Southhampton San Juan as well as all the ports in Florida. This list includes cruises from March thru October 30th but has no offerings for the high season/summer months June-August, but starts again August thru the end of October, it is non transferable, you have to bring the certificate and can't loose it must be original and no photo copy and the person listed on the casino offer must be present.....you just have to pay for port charges and taxes which came out to be $218.76 plus gratuities. It is 100% refundable also in case you have to cancel. At this time I had to choose being on deck 12 or 14 (Oceanview balcony) and chose deck 12 and chose the cabin that I wanted which was available. cruisegirl1 Posted May 25, 2017 #7 Share Posted May 25, 2017 (edited) $5 play in a machine = 1 point . You need to play enough to get 400 points for $100 off certificate and some slightly reduced pricing. That means you need to pass $2000 through a machine to get to 400 points. You don't have to lose anything - and in fact you may come out even or ahead. If you get lucky, a few dollars can last you most of the evening. 4500 points for a "free" cruise = $22,500 in play (If I did the math correctly) . You need 1000 points to get free drinks in the casino. As they say, nothing is really free. Good luck M Edited May 25, 2017 by cruisegirl1
Rare Cruisegirl6 Posted May 25, 2017 Author #8 Share Posted May 25, 2017 Its free for us, my other half brought home $5300 just playing slots, although he did buy me a ruby and diamond pendant in white gold with some of the money, so in reality, yes everything was for free this time and I don't think they keep track whether a person wins or looses. I love the oceanview balconies on decks 12 & 14. Those rooms are a little warmer than the other decks though. I guess because heat rises.
bmac1 Posted May 25, 2017 #11 Share Posted May 25, 2017 Win or lose makes no difference you just need to put that amount through the machine. Money bet counts and money won counts towards the points.

Cruise for vacation Posted May 25, 2017 #14 Share Posted May 25, 2017 There is a sign in the casino that let's you know how many points you would need for the casino offers such has free cruises or cash vouchers towards your next cruise, depending on the level of play. Taishartrueblood Posted May 26, 2017 #17 Share Posted May 26, 2017 So why can't someone just put $23k into a slot machine, cash out, and receive a free cruise then?
Strophic Posted May 26, 2017 #18 Share Posted May 26, 2017 So why can't someone just put $23k into a slot machine, cash out, and receive a free cruise then? Who would do that though? Do you know how many balcony cabins you could buy with 23k? That would be way more risk than the potential reward.
Clarea Posted May 26, 2017 #19 Share Posted May 26, 2017 So why can't someone just put $23k into a slot machine, cash out, and receive a free cruise then? I would think they are smart enough to only count money that has been played, i.e, risked. What am I saying ... this is Royal Caribbean's IT deparment ... I think your idea is worth a try!. rusty1014 Posted May 26, 2017 #20 Share Posted May 26, 2017 You need to wager that much. If you put $23,000 in and pulled the max bet ($5) 4600 times, you'd have a "free" cruise, and could cash out whatever remained. If you were left with $20,000 or more, you won. What do you think the odds are of that? Sent from my iPad using Forums
Rare Cruisegirl6 Posted May 26, 2017 Author #21 Share Posted May 26, 2017 It has to be calculated not only by the amount of money you put in but the amount of pulls you actually do.
