Blauelini Posted October 13, 2017 #176 Share Posted October 13, 2017 Usually the travel agents get it.And every year since those speculation threads for the upcoming season are active, this deployment schedule has been published in the forum. So you can take for granted it will happen again for the 2019/20 period. Usually those deployment lists roll out in February, so in our case for 2019/20, we should have it by February 2018. If RCI continues to publish next years itinerary in March/April the year before... Sent from my iPhone using Forums Awesome, good info. So each February is when to start looking. I see that once a year cruise leaving Copenhagen going west via an overnight in Iceland then Greenland, etc.. to Boston for 2018 is already sold out for suites and balconies. I know it's their most popular TA of the year. Wanting to look as early as possible for August 2019.
Biker19 Posted October 13, 2017 #177 Share Posted October 13, 2017 2018 Symphony, 2019 Oasis, 2020 Allure, 2021 Oasis newbuild... 2021 will also have Harmony in the Med after her first dry dock.
springaussie Posted October 13, 2017 #178 Share Posted October 13, 2017 Let's see what is planned for Quantum otS - if she stays in China/Far East, or if she will be borught back to Europe as well. I'd really appreciate ths! Since her first routine dry dock would be due in 2019, quite an interesting question... ) Max Ovation went into an emergency dry dock in June at one of the Chinese ports. CRUISEFAN0001 Posted October 14, 2017 #183 Share Posted October 14, 2017 Non-refundable deposit. Which we know is somewhat of a misnomer...as for reserving with that lower fare category...RCI actually keeps $100 in the event of a cancellation (prior to 75 days) and allows the remainder of the deposit amount to be used as a deposit on a future cruise. CRUISEFAN0001 Posted October 14, 2017 #185 Share Posted October 14, 2017 With a one-year time limit. Yup...thanks for adding that Bob. :D It certainly reduces any risk in the event needing to make a change. Considering the price difference at booking time, it's a good choice for many folks. Manymice Posted October 16, 2017 #186 Share Posted October 16, 2017 Please help me understand the situation regards ships in Asia. Mariner will be coming to the U.S., Voyager apparently is moving to Europe, who knows what is happening to Quantum. That leaves Spectrum, once released. Who they have Spectrum, Ovation and Quantum all in the Far East? What ship will handle S.E.Asia?. I'm so confused.

MADflyer Posted October 16, 2017 #190 Share Posted October 16, 2017 RCL appears to have more ships in the MED for the late summer season, with Brilliance moving to the MED from Amsterdam for a 2 month season, returning to Tampa with Rhapsody just prior to Thanksgiving 2019. Voyager or Quantum appear to have a late summer/fall season in the MED prior to sailing most likely eastbound toward Dubai, Singapore or Sydney.
