laedw Posted September 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2017 I recently sailed on Enchantment of the Seas and enjoyed having a pool in the adults-only Solarium. Considering booking a cruise on Freedom and wondered if there is a pool in the Solarium. I was delighted that the lifeguards on EOS enforced the 16+ age limit in the Solarium. Security also was available in the Viking Crown Lounge when a very intoxicated young man disregarded warnings about his behavior. He was politely escorted out of the venue! i.e. I missed having a pool on Harmony of the Seas :(. Anyone know why they got rid of the pool? cb at sea Posted September 5, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2017 Yes indeed....and if there is a lifeguard, they should be enforcing the age limit. On ships that don't enforce it, the passengers point out the sign to the offenders....not a big deal!
cltnccruisers Posted September 5, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 5, 2017 We were on FOS last September and spent a good bit of time in the Solarium. The pool was never overcrowded and we never saw any kids I wouldn't consider doing laps in it, though. It's more of a floating around and relaxing kind of pool. Essentially, the Solarium is the adults-only pool that is open to guests that are at least 16 years old.

wolfcathorse Posted September 5, 2017 #9 Share Posted September 5, 2017 if the weather is inclement, you won't be in the Solarium on a Freedom class ship, they are open to the sky, not roofed in like on the Vision and Radiance class ships. Sent from my Kestrel using Forums mobile app When someone says they spit all over the screen or something of the like it means they had a hearty laugh. I know that sometimes our American slang and British slang seem very odd to each other. I recently heard a man from England use the term "Don't grass me up" - I had to google it to see what it meant!
