Have you ever seen a celebrity on a Carnival cruise ship???

In 32 Carnival cruises, I've never encountered a celebrity on Carnival; however, on my one and only Norwegian cruise, which was to Alaska on Norwegian Wind right after it was stretched, I did encounter James Brady who was shot during the Ronald Reagan administration. James was in a wheelchair and his wife Sarah was playing in the casino. She left a quarter progressive slot machine (I had no idea who she was), and I started playing the machine and it hit the progressive jackpot for over $2,000. She wasn't too happy with me to say the least. I felt sorry for James because it seemed like during the entire cruise, she left him sitting close by in his wheelchair while she played slots. NCL staff told me the 2 of them cruised Alaska that same time of the year every year on NCL.

Abut 5 years ago we met Alex Brown of Chicago Bears with his wife and children. We were on the same tour with them in Grand Cayman, attended Bingo with them a lot and spent time in the hot tub. He was very nice. His wife won the free cruise on the list night at Bingo.

Yup, Keith Nale from 2014 survivor. I saw him near the grand staircase and thought he looked familiar. Then saw him up on deck and went up and introduced myself. He came over and took pictures with my family. I'm a huge survivor fan.

I think I saw a cartel member be hauled off the Imagination in handcuffs one time in port of Miami... don't know if he was from a famous cartel...

Don't look for work as a comedian. I don't think it'll work out for you.

My neighbor looks a lot like a baseball player I cant remember his name. A passenger came over introduced himself and asked if he was the player. He gets that a lot. Anyway he lied and said yes and let that guy buy him 3 drinks before he got bored with his game and left.

Yep - Guy Fieri when he was shooting one of his shows on the Carnival Breeze. What a pain that was - they closed off different areas/venue not just during the shoot, but wherever he went. He was staying in a cabin/suite on deck 7, and they wouldn't even let me go down the hallway to my cabin, which was a few doors from his. They shut down the ropes course so his kids could go on it. Luckily he got off the ship permanently at our second port!

Would have gone to my cabin and let them stop me.

On our first cruise on the Destiny in 1999, they were doing a model shoot onboard. I don't know if they were celebrities or not but they sure thought they were. I was not impressed to see a skinny model in a bikini with a huge straw hat and heels posing by the pool. And of course, they had everything roped off so you couldn't use the pool.

Sounds brutal. I hope I am never forced to witness that :D
