we cruised the week after thanksgiving and decorations did not go up until our disembark day.

When we cruised over Thanksgiving week years ago, they were putting up decorations on our disembarkation day which was the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

We are cruising the Sunday after Thanksgiving (Nov 26) on Getaway, did not even think about Xmas decorations - what an added bonus that would be. Maybe I will decorate my cabin door...

On the Jewel last year week after Thanksgiving, they decorated during the last couple of days of the cruise.

If you like Christmas decorations you should come to the Philippines some time, they start in September, really kicks in full gear 11/2, the day after All Saints Day. Been hearing Christmas music in the stores since 10/17.

we've sailed twice just after thanksgiving (the saturday of) and they started putting them up as we were getting off.

I think it depends on the itinerary and the HD for each ship at that time. We've been cruising the week of Thanksgiving for a few years and sometimes we see them start to decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving but not always. But even if they do start getting the decorations up and out, it's not in full swing for a few weeks (gingerbread houses and other displays, etc).

We cruised the week after Thanksgiving last year. There were a few decorations starting to come out at the beginning of the week and by the end there were lots.
