dvcfan2 Posted December 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2017 In a review, someone mentioned that they purchased wrist bands on Harmony of the Seas. Is this something new like the Disney Magic Bands?
Clarea Posted December 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 5, 2017 In a review, someone mentioned that they purchased wrist bands on Harmony of the Seas. Is this something new like the Disney Magic Bands? Yes, similar concept. They do everything that the ship card does, except get you on and off the ship. I believe the cost is $5, at Guest Services. CruiserBruce Posted December 5, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 5, 2017 You would probably get more info if you ask on the RCI board, here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
cb at sea Posted December 5, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 5, 2017 Not sure why you'd want to wear a thing on your wrist....just another tan line! On RCI, they're called "Wow" bands.

They are great for when you want to go for a swim or don't want to rake your sea pass card or a lanyard with you. They can be reprogrammed for each cruise on that ship class. Have used ours on two cruises (Ovation O/T Seas) and think they are great. Still require Sea Pass Card for embarkation and disembarkation.

sail7seas Posted December 16, 2017 #7 Share Posted December 16, 2017 Some people wear 'sea band's, wrist bands on ships to combagt seasicknes. You can buy them at CVS , Rtite-Aid etc. They are non-invasive and completely safe. Some say they are helpful, some say otherwise. Are you sure these are not what was being referenced? No, the WOW bands are available on the Quantum class ships and cost $5. They can be used instead of carrying your sea pass card around whilst on board ship. Once purchased, you can get them reprogrammed for any cruises on the ship class that has them. You only need your sea pass card when you go ashore or re board the ship. We found them very handy, particularly around the pool.
