New Casino Royale Tier System

Recommended Posts

Interested in finding out more info also. Will look at my Crown and Anchor infobto see how many cruises I have taken since 7/16. Katherine

I still have all my certificates, so I added mine up that way. I should be around 18,000. There has been no official announcement of how many points you need for what tier, that I'm aware of. Just the benefits of the tiers.

We should be finding out soon.

That's what I was told too, but until I see it in black and white from the casino, I won't believe it. I have heard so many things over the past year.

Did you receive your email in February or is March 31st still the date we will be informed?

I just received an email offering me a Grand Suite on 7 different ships with sailings all through 2018.

No details in the email on any Tier level though;)

Most people I feel will fall under the Prime level, what I don't get, is how is this better for players? It used to be at 5k you would get a complimentary balcony cabin now with this new tier level, you would get an interior. How is this better?

Because supposedly that interior is in addition to the cruise certs toy earn by play on each trip.

So people lets say that have 5k points will still get the certificates for the balcony cabins plus extra interior room? I am confused sorry.

My understanding is that the on board certificate portion would remain the same. Time will tell.

Got my email today.

Dear Graham

Thank you for your loyalty to Casino Royale for the past 18 years, we have enjoyed banking the large sums of money you have invested in our CASINO program.

As you know Royal Caribbean really does not care anymore about loyalty or the amount of money you have spent in numerous casinos on many of our fleets ships.

As a token of our gratitude for your loyalty, we are offering you one free drink, an exclusive OLD CR VIP cap and a collectors T-Shirt.

In addition to these wonderful benefits, you will receive a key chain and a $5 match play coupon that is only valid on single deck blackjack.

We have a cabin offer on deck 2 with bunk beds on Empress for a 3 night sailing to nowhere, unfortunately the casino will be closed on that sailing so no free drinks for you.

Your new tier based on the 7 figures you have spent in the casino over the past 18 years sees you at our entry level of SELECT.

We hope you enjoy the great benefits of our basic level which anyone who sets foot in the casino can reach.

Please pass on to your family and friends the good news on this great program which truly rewards loyalty.

We look forward to seeing you on your next cruise so we can personally thank you for your money and loyalty.

Casino Royale.

Just called Casino Royale to see where my e-mail was (not those fake snarky e-mails some posters have been putting on here).

The response I got was that the e-mails would be going out but that if you are on a ship now or soon to be (19 days for me!!!) the ship would have all of the information.

Is anyone on a ship now and can confirm or deny?

Thanks,

I had to call CR about something else today and while I had the rep on the phone, I asked about the program.

She said that emails started going out yesterday. Has anyone gotten one ? I have not.

She indicated that the shore side (meaning HER and her colleagues) had not yet gotten information on individual player information. I don't really believe that but I am sure that is what she was told to say.

Since I am cruising within the week, she said that "everything will be already loaded onto my Seapass" whatever that means. Presumably, any amenities, to which I would be entitled, will be preloaded. Not sure what that would be, really, except perhaps the free drinks and convenience fee waiver. Maybe the internet discount ? I won't need any of that anyway so I don't know how I would find out if it's loaded or not.

So really, no news at all.
