39august Posted January 3, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Do all Elite members get robes in cabins or must you be in a particular cabin category?
CYNSport Posted January 3, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2018 As far as I know, the type of robes given are not based on Captain’s Club status, but on cabin category.
Mr. Click Posted January 3, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 3, 2018 We have had veranda, CC and Aqua cabins, all came with robes. The ones in CC and Aqua were a bit nicer but the ones in veranda were fine.
davekathy Posted January 3, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Do all Elite members get robes in cabins or must you be in a particular cabin category? Our last Infinity cruise we were in a 2B Balcony and had robes. Gave them back as we don't wear them. FWIW we are also Elite.
dkjretired Posted January 3, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 3, 2018 All cabins on Celebrity provide two robes, the higher class cabins have better ones. No different type for Captains Club status.
Rare hcat Posted January 3, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 3, 2018 AQ has the heavier robes...we prefer the waffle ones and have been able to swap..
39august Posted January 3, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Great, thanks. I would prefer the waffle robes myself.
Silkroad Posted January 3, 2018 #8 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Suite and Aqua cabins had plush terry cloth robes, while Veranda cabins had thinner, lighter waffle cotton robes. DH and I preferred the latter.
varoo Posted January 4, 2018 #9 Share Posted January 4, 2018 Whenever we received the heavy, bulky robes on Celebrity cruises, we were always able to swap them out for the lighter robes.
RS77471 Posted July 24, 2018 #10 Share Posted July 24, 2018 I am hoping they will bring us one more...we have 3 people in our cabin!!
CHEZMARYLOU Posted July 24, 2018 #11 Share Posted July 24, 2018 If you don't have 3 when you board just ask your cabin attendant.
RS77471 Posted July 24, 2018 #12 Share Posted July 24, 2018 Thanks!!! This is our first time to cruise in the family Veranda!! So learning what to expect! ( My parents normally cruise in concierge, but we thought the 2 bedrooms would work better for 3 of us!!!)
Zeldamarie Posted July 24, 2018 #13 Share Posted July 24, 2018 Suite and Aqua cabins had plush terry cloth robes, while Veranda cabins had thinner, lighter waffle cotton robes. Silkroad Posted July 24, 2018 #14 Share Posted July 24, 2018 ARe larger sizes available for those of us who may be a bit on the portly side?;) The robes appeared to be “one size fits all” which means they definitely don’t fit all properly:') I can tell you that the robes were quite roomy on both DH and myself. I’d say they were at least a men’s XL. That’s why I preferred the lighter waffle robes to the thick terry cloth robes in Aqua, Concierge, and Suite class. I haven’t heard of additional sizes being available, but perhaps someone else has.
