Frznrth Posted January 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2018 Hi We will be in Grand Cayman in Feb and have an excursion that is supposed to end at 2:30. Ship leaves at 4:00. Is that enough time to do anything? Is there anything to do very close to the tender dock. When would the lady tender be? Thanks.
Beachlover1989 Posted January 27, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2018 I would love to know this as well. Hopefully someone will see this. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
runner15km Posted January 27, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2018 I would call it a day and get back on the ship before the buffet closes. :D
Frznrth Posted January 27, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted January 27, 2018 Buffet can wait. I’d much rather be on land - especially Cayman land - for as long as I can be.
jabrown40 Posted January 27, 2018 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2018 It really doesn’t leave enough time to do anything except walking around the tender area for a few minutes. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Frznrth Posted January 27, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted January 27, 2018 When would the last tender be?
blarko Posted January 27, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 27, 2018 If the ship leaves at 4:00, all aboard would be 3:30. I would guess that the last tender would probably be around 3:00. I’d stay very close to the tender area after your excursion.

Capt_BJ Posted January 27, 2018 #9 Share Posted January 27, 2018 (edited) while I'm loath to mention this Margaritaville is practically across the street from the main tender landing I really don't like to recommend going to a US chain place when visiting any island ....but for you it offers a stop for an island drink I suppose. ... and there is plenty of (high end) shopping within a couple of blocks from here. There's a place that sells the Tortuga Rum cakes 'right there' [alto I can also buy these at my local liq' store here in FL] Edited January 27, 2018 by Capt_BJ
caribsun Posted January 28, 2018 #10 Share Posted January 28, 2018 It's a tourist trap around the tender piers. I would head back to the ship after the tour before it gets crowded.
Beachlover1989 Posted January 28, 2018 #11 Share Posted January 28, 2018 It's a tourist trap around the tender piers. I would head back to the ship after the tour before it gets crowded. That is probably the absolute best bet and a great recommendation. Thank you! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
cb at sea Posted January 28, 2018 #12 Share Posted January 28, 2018 There's no need to spend time just to spend time.....You will need to be in the tender line by 3:30 at the latest. Traffic returning to the ship is SLOOOOOOOW in the afternoon...so you will probably not have time enough to worry about!
ABQrobin Posted January 28, 2018 #13 Share Posted January 28, 2018 I would recommend you are in the tender line before 3pm. Our last time there we stood in line an hour, hot sun, really horrible ... that's how many people (like the whole ship!) were waiting to last minute to get back on ship. Never again for us. We will be there at least an hour before we need to be. Yuck.. I hate lines.
GuavaTechAngels Posted April 26, 2018 #14 Share Posted April 26, 2018 I would call it a day and get back on the ship before the buffet closes. :D No way, take the bus to 7 Mile Beach. It's literally a short ride from the port. You can even see your ship from the beach.
