I think they structure the GGG rates under the fake sales, so you still don't get the full C&A discount.

Yes, you get the full C&A discount since the GGG sale is not a percentage off sale. Make sure you get it on your first call, it will not go on the booking if you do it online. Do not wait like I did, it took a few calls and finally resolutions took care of it for me.

There are some aspects of RC's "sales" that are not combinable with the C&A balcony discount. One example might be promo OBC. That might be more than your C&A balcony discount, so you're probably getting the better deal.

There was a great price on the Freedom Christmas sailing a few years ago and we were not allowed to use our balcony discount since it was a special price. For that one it really did not matter as we got a 7 day Christmas cruise in a D2 cabin for under $1000 for 2 people
