I wonder if this means you get the VIP sticker on every cruise, regardless of your points on the previous cruise and whether you have reached 1000 on the current cruise. I also wonder if the free cruise will be awarded after March 2019. Can hardly wait for the details. Hopefully the host on explorer will know more.

We just returned from a cruise mid March of this year. Husband plays the craps table, I play slots. He always gets a free cruise & I get $$$ to be applied towards a cruise. We each get a certificate with a list of cruises you can apply it towards. We already have three cruises booked so no need for a "free cruise" BUT if you read the fine print $1000 can be applied towards a cruise already booked with them. So, translated for us, that took $1400 off our March 2019 cruise. We were able to do that last year as well. Our travel agent took care of it for us by calling Casino Royale.

Curious where you found that it can be used as $750 toward another cruise? I read every word on the offer and it says it has "no cash value and cannot be applied towards non-Qualifying Sailings". Thanks.

For us it's on the back above the list of available cruises. We always just take the dollars off (the most for us was $750) a cruise/ship that is convenient for us.

This was pertaining to the March e-mail offering free cruises and not a regular certificate from onboard play, but thanks.

I'm diamond plus, but never gambled until 1/2018. I earned three certificates for three cruises on the first three cruises this year. On the fourth cruise, I did little gambling, but got 2-3 drinks with my VIP sticker. On the cruise I am currently on, I earned 1600 points for $400us off and received my sticker straight away. I've had maybe 6-7 drinks from the casino on this cruise. No internet offer. No welcome letter in my stateroom on the current cruise, but the casino is without a regular host on this voyage. I have sailed in Australian and South Pacific waters exclusively this year.

This is getting frustrating. I’ve been on board Radiance for the past 15 days and the Casino Host and Casino Manager know about as much as us. The Casino Host told me yesterday (April 1 in AU) that the new program has been introduced but all she could tell me is that it’s being “tested” on a few ships but not ours. When I said that didn’t make any sense and asked for details, she couldn’t tell me any more.

Hi Sue, I've been thinking of you! Hope you're well!

On Freedom this week. Yes new program being tested. They placed vip sticker on my card and I received the info in cabin. I made prime. Free drinks no problem. They only look at card. No info about the free cruise. Pts are now counting until next April 1st I was told.

I just returned from Enchantment cruise today, and I hadn't cruised since 8/16. I had a letter in my stateroom stating I was prime. Went to casino and they put a sticker on my card for drinks. There was a certificate on my door this morning for 500 off a cruise which must be booked within 30 days and sail before one year.

Did u gamble a lot during this cruise? Seems like prime was a good tier to start out with!

I have been a member of Casino Royale for at least 10 years since I was "asked". I do play a lot, but I wouldn't call myself a big spender lol.

Prime is easy to get, you just need 2500 -24,999 points between July 2016 and December 2017. There should be another level between Prime and Signature. I get 1600 - 2500 points on my cruises and have sailed 10 times during that time period getting a total of about 22,000 points. Yet I get the same benefits for Prime as someone who has only sailed once and got 2500 points.

So my husband has been ill for the last 5 years and is now at a point where I can at least cruise with him. So we started in January 2018. I earned 3600 points and we have 4 more RC cruises booked through January 2019. So according to this info on this next cruise in May, I would start at -0-? I am quite upset at that. I would at least expect free drinks.

The only reason you cruise Royal is for free drinks in the Casino?

I wasn't expecting to get Prime on this cruise since I hadn't sailed in a year and a half, but I do have some time in the program, so that must be why I was given Prime this cruise.

Just called and I am choice, which means nothing; not even 5% off to allow me to get cash on sail card to use in casino. :( My cruise last Jan, will not count. They said the email should come out in May. Sounds like I might be enjoying the ship more this time and the casino less.
