Casino Royale New Tier Program

Recommended Posts

You missed my point entirely.

1) No confusion over MLIFE and Royal Caribbean. I was just saying that MGM properties will get my business if Royal Caribbean does not figure out a way to accurately reward play.

2) I understand they said I had 13,000 points and that is Prime. That is my question. If I went on 7 cruises each being rewarded with a free cruise cert, which kicks in at 3K points each time....that would indicate a minimum of 21K points. (Point of disparity #1)

3) From my annual Win/Loss statement, I can generate an average Daily Loss which can replace the Average Daily theoretical loss in the equation. I know I play a fairly traditional strategy craps game....therefore to lose what I did, it would equate to $45K a night ....and that would match the average roll bet as well. To put it in perspective. $45K a night through a slot machine at $5/point would mean 9000 points a night...and I cruised 27 nights. I concede that the $ value per point is not the same as slots....but that is a ridiculous disparity.

My husband and I never received the email telling us our tier, so I called and we are both signature, but I forgot to ask about the internet. Do we automatically get it and its ready when we board or do we still have to order it and get credit for it from the casino?

There is a code that will be in your cabin when you board. If it's not there just go to the casino host and they will give it to you.

Sorry I don't follow you. What certificates did you actually receive. On a post above you said you sailed 6 times and 5 or those you received a certificate for a free cruise which starts at 4800 points. Which would give you Prime. Then in another post you said you had 7 cruises during the time that the certificate kicks in at 3000 points which will still give your Prime.

The inside free cruises start at 2400 points

I believe the outside free cruise starts at 3600 and the balcony at 4800.

I don't think anyone knows what formula they use for certificates for table games.

My original post i was working from memory, as i was writing my email i went back to my cruise history and identified 7 cruises.

Again from memory, i cannot remember every cert, but the majority were ocean view, so i still used a hybrid average to indicate 7 certs earned is probably greater than 13k points total.

I called the other day and was told that the 18 month range was for the soft rollout, however for the hard rollout they are only calculating 12 months April 1, 2017 - March 31, 2018.

That's not what I was old many time by lots of different people. First year July 2016-12/31/17 - Second year January 1, 2018 - March 31, 2019 - Those two period were the soft roll out. After that it would be April 1 - March 31st. My tier reflected the 18 months. I have over 10,000 points already from January-March so they better be counting them towards next year.

Knowing Royal, that will all change before the first year is up, and we'll be trying to figure out another whole new program.

That is what I was told as well. They are doing a 'grandfather' system to give everyone a fair chance with the new system.

Hi all I put up a post about new program friends and family discount and was informed I should try here.

Has anyone been able to use this new perk or does it not exist.

Cheers

I was going to ask about that next time I called. Am interested also if anyone inquired yet.

I'd also like to know about the friends program. I travel solo with a friend and we always get our own cabins. It would be nice if I could save her some money. If anyone calls before me, could you find out if it could be used for cruises already booked through the next cruise desk?

Hi Gaylemh ... I'm on the Anthem on Oct. 27th also. Maybe I'll see you in the casino since the M&M keeps going back to zero each week.

I called yesterday to inquire since neither my wife or myself received the email on our tier level. The agent verified our email addresses and said she would put us on the "resend" list.

I also inquired on the friends and family discount and using what I figured my tier level would be (choice) and a cruise I already have booked the cost savings was about $120 for an interior room.

I'm sure we have sailed together at some point, your name looks so familiar, but I don't think we ever met. Looking forward to meeting you.

For those of us waiting for the email to be resent, don’t wait anymore because they’re not being sent. I called on Thursday and was told I’d get it in 24-48 hours. I called again on Saturday and was told Friday didn’t count and that I’d have it by Tuesday. I just got off the phone and this time was told that they just were told that there’s no way to send out duplicates so they won’t be coming. He told me thay have a list of hundreds of people waiting for a duplicate and the only way they’ll know, that they’re not getting it is by calling in.

I’m really frustrated with Royal Caribbean. I’m Signature so I do spend a lot on cruises. I’m also diamond plus so I’ve got a lot invested in this cruise line but maybe it’s time to go back to Princess.

So we are not getting them at all? I just called Club Royale again since I still did not receive the e-mail after calling last week. The rep I spoke to was not aware that duplicates would not be sent to those who didn't initially receive them. Also Signature and Diamond Plus but that doesn't seem to carry any weight!!

If you already know what tier you are, why is it so important to get an email?

I presume there is an explanation of the new tier program and the free balcony cruise particulars in the e-mail that I would like to see. Also, after bestowing a quarter of a million dollars upon RCCL I believe I should at least be included in the mailing.

I'm signature and there was nothing about the free balcony cruise. The only thing included in the email was the chart that showed the benefits of each tier.

Good grief, not anything about the applicable dates for the complimentary cruise or dates for point accumulation (which seem to differ among reps)? Guess I'm not missing anything if so.

I agree. I don’t care if I’ve already read everything in the email here, I still want the email.

And if there’s nothing specific in the email, why is it so hard to send duplicates? Makes no sense to me.

I’m on Anthem now. Slots were fair the first two days but since then have been VERY tight. Multiple conversations with other gamers and I’ve heard the same from them. That said I boarded as a “prime” member of the casino program. Got up to 1800 points playing slots before deciding to stop ad they’re too tight. What happens, if anything, at this level of play?
