Okay, I'm one those people that stopped receiving emails from RCI about three ago. To no avail, I have tried everything I could to resolve the problem. When I called, they said they will mail out my tier level information at any time. That was two months ago. Has anyone received their information via snail-mail?

Here’s my situation. My wife is the gambler and I low roll it in the casino plus play Texas Holdem. She always gets free drinks in the casino and sometimes I get them and sometimes I don’t. We were on Anthem in October and I got free drinks in the casino plus I had already bought the drink package so I was getting drinks everywhere haha. We are getting ready to on Anthem again and I’m not buying the package partly because both in the cabin have to now buy it. But, what I’m wondering is if anyone has a feel whether or not I will be getting free drinks in the casino again?

Thanks for your help. I used MyVegas Rewards for OBC on this cruise. The cruise credit can't be combined with them. Bummer!

 

I have so many points with My Vegas and can't use any of them. Maybe someday I'll get to Vegas.

If you had over 1000 points on your last cruise you should be getting free drinks in the casino. If you had over 2500 points in the period from July 2016 - March 2018. You would be at least Prime in the new tier program and you will get them.

Update: I am back-to-back on Allure. On this second leg my seapass says "Diamond Plus - Signature." So Prime last week and Signature this week! Maybe they had a heart and saw how close I was to 25,000 points? Nah, never. Don't know how the tier changed since it cut off 3/31/18 but I will gladly accept it. The casino host confirmed Signature status. She offered the free Voom but I am already in a suite and get it free. I asked her about automatically maintaining that status once attained and she said they have not decided on that yet.

 

I'm guessing the casino host saw how close you were on the first cruise and upgraded you to signature, especially if you gambled a lot on the first cruise.

Am I to understand if you reach Select (2,500) points you receive a free cruise and the points can be an accumulation of all cruises you took in RCCL's calendar year April 1 through March 31? For example, If on each cruise I earn 500 points and take 5 cruises do I earn a cruise? Or do I have to earn 2,500 on a single cruise ?

It's an accumulation of 2500-24,999 for Prime during the time period for the following year.

I never have close to 1,000 on a cruise. My wife gets a bunch of points every cruise and gets comped cruises. Sometimes they let me piggyback on her for free drinks and sometimes they don’t. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.

Do you by any chance know when their year begins and ends?

 

This year for tier benefits (April 1, 2018-March 31,2019) you needed to accumulate points from July 1, 2016- December 31,2017 (18 months).

 

The next year is January 1, 2018 - March 31, 2019 (15 months).

 

All the following years it's April 1st - March 31st.

No. No email, snail mail, nothing. Just got back from a cruise and was very pleasantly surprised to find a letter in my stateroom that I received PRIME tier. Mind you I only cruised January 2018 but earned 3600 points. So I was happy. But I really don’t think they decide til they look at your recent playing history in past 21 months to decide.

I was told it was the last 18 months.

I got it too. Problem is it has me at choice even though on my April Oasis cruise they had me at Prime and I confirmed this less than 2 weeks ago when talking to a CR rep.

 

Somehow I am not surprised at all with their error. And the fight will begin tomorrow with CR.

 

They will either keep a customer for life or lose one forever.

 

We will see.

Well....here it is. Just got the email today.We are prime......I am not impressed...

and because we stay in a suite, we already get some of these benefits

I was given Signature on the Oasis last week. I saved the info in the envelope.

Free internet is nice. Funny thing is I'll be "A Pinnacle" by January.

Hello. We are sailing soon on Allure using an offer that we received from an MGM casino. Does anyone know if that will give us any tier status or benefits in the RCCL casino program to start or if we'll have to earn the points on this cruise prior to receiving any benefits? Don't really care too much, mostly just curious if they do any matching, particularly because we are sailing on a casino offer.

Received mine it was in my junk. They have me listed as choice. I received three certificates on my last cruise three cruises $400, $300 and $200 also received a free cruise that we are taking In November. I received choice as my level. We called a few weeks ago I was told I should receive prime. “Interesting”

I thought it was based on 18 months, mine said 12 months
