Yes, real live smoking is allowed in a portion of the casino. In theory, only in one area - in practice, throughout the entire casino. Formal nights are non-smoking.

There's also an actual smoking lounge on port side deck 6 outside Club 6, for all those other times some one may want to smoke indoors but doesn't patronize the casino...

Players who are smoking have to stay in the area of the casino where it's permitted .... it's the smoke that can travel about the casino!

Just to clarify that comment! :)

Glad to hear there’s a smoking lounge for those who don’t gamble and want to smoke! I don’t smoke or gamble, but our companions like the Casino.....the reason I’m surprised is that Celebrity has NO smoking in their Casino...we were on the Infinity for 2 weeks going through the Panama Canal to San Diego. Casino was midship so we walked through it all the time....

Yes, that’s the issue.....smoke filled clothes! Glad there are self-serve laundries onboard! On Celebrity there is NO indoor smoking......no self serve laundries either!

I wish they would not allow smoking in the casino because it is centrally located and smoke travels into other parts of that deck.

We see smokers all the time who do not gamble grab an ash tray and sit is a small group and smoke away. It appears they can smoke where ever they want because we have never seen it enforced otherwise in the casino.

The smoking that I detest on the Regal is the area around the small aft pool (deck 17?). I thought the smoking area was at the tables under the overhang but the last two times we were on the Regal we saw people smoking at many of the loungers in the aft pool area and by people sitting around the pool, etc. At one time we enjoyed this pool for the lovely aft views, but not now unless things have changed as you can no longer avoid smoke.
