Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises Merging Accounts Into One

Recommended Posts

I am trying to see the price of beverage packages for my cruise, but every time I click on “Access Cruise Planner,” I get a message that says:

Bad Request. “Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.”

I tried accessing it on different browsers and different devices. None of them work. Is this a problem other people are having, or is there something wrong with my browsers?

Keep trying. You have the great pleasure of experiencing the new and improved RCL web site that they deployed this week. We finally got back into our cruise planner today after being locked out for several days,,, for our cruise this week. Any good company would have a backout plan if they implement a change that doesn't work. RCL doesn't, and keeps sticking bandaids on this new web site. We still can't get to all of our cruise information and are just being patient.

Thank you. I’ll try clearing it out and if that doesn’t work, I’ll hope my Planner gets the bandaid in a couple days.

I had that problem on my tablet. I was able to access it on my desktop.

So someone on a page back put the link on for the back door. Although I got through to the Mexican site, I was able to see my reservations and cruise history. I was able to access the cruise planner and purchase a drink package. So we will see if I truly purchased it or not. I will call on Monday to verify it. I was going to purchase the dinning bogo and chef's table but will delay until we get on the ship as we don't want that messed up.

All in all the new system doesn't work very well. Now my wife and I have 2 different email accounts linked to our cruises instead of one we shared. I tried to manually put my cruises in my account but it crashed with bad request. I even tried to turn my computer off and back on again.

Righto, I too cannot access my cruise planner on either my tablet or laptop.

I have had to do the new log in thing, added C&A number, added the cruise booking ref etc...it gave you no other option.

Both cruises show in ‘cruises’ but only the upcoming one shows in the Dashboard. When I click ‘access the cruise planner’ it looks like it’s going to do something and then just shows the same page again.

Any ideas, or shall I just go off to a corner and rock slowly until Royal sort out their ‘new and updated website.

Luckily Celebrity website, still works as we’re on that one in 3 weeks time!

Use this link. It will take you to the old version of the website:

Thanks for posting the old version link. I was able to log into my cruise planner with no problem. I wonder why RC doesn't let people know they can use the old link. People are blowing up their facebook page with complaints because they cannot access the site.

The Blue Page does not work for me . I compete the requested information, but the "submit " button does not work. The only info I cannot enter is a security question because there is no drop down menu for that . I guess that is why I can't "submit" all my other info. Anyone else have this problem?

Is anyone able to access cruise planner once signed in?

I keep getting "Bad Request"

"Bad Request" is what I get every time I try. I'm glad that I completed and printed everything for our 4/1 cruise before they did this.

Rick,

I had the same issue when trying to use Internet Explorer but didn't have any issue when I used Firefox.

Alternately, use this link with your old username and password: https://secure.royalcaribbean.com/mycruises/processLogin.do

Are you saying you can actually access your edocs now? Edocs may be ready but I always thought you could not access yours until online checkin is complete.

Yes, I just pulled them up to make sure I wasn't posting incorrect information.

I am not one to beat up on a company just for the sake of beating up on them. However. That is not a response that holds any weight. They aren't acknowledging the problem with their clients. The problem isn't one of reseting a password. Whole functions integral to managing an upcoming cruise are missing. A reset password doesn't suddenly gain one access. Truly gobsmacking what they have done.

Meanwhile over on NCL's website for my other cruise: their 6 or 7 year old website is heaven.

So I was able to log in with my new email address. It will not allow me to change my email address to one that I monitor because my wife uses our shared email account on her RCI log in. Which she cant access anyway. But when I selected the cruise planner it sent me back to an old RCI web site page. At least I got in and looks like I can get access but I will not attempt to change or purchase anything until the dust settles.
