Two Caribbean Princess Questions, Please

I cannot find a review/discussion on stateroom B749. This is a premium balcony on the starboard corner of the deck. Anyone have any info or thoughts on this cabin?

Secondly, there seems to be conflicting visuals on the Princess site. When I select Caribbean Princess the cover for the video shows Skywalkers at the back, shopping-trolley-handle fashion. When I click to show the video, graphics indicate it isn't there. Which is it?

Thanks for any info you can share.

Other than the opening still of CB, that video is almost definitely of Crown Princess.

Caribbean does have the "shopping cart handle" version of Skywalker's. And many other features more common to the earlier generation of Grand-class ships.

Definitely rely on the deck plans to orient yourself to the public areas on the ship. For example, CB is one of only two ships with the Casino on Deck 7 and Crown Grill on Deck 6 rather than the reverse--a fact you would never learn from stock video footage.

What is "shopping cart handle version of skywalkers?" I don't know what that means. Thanx.

The first Grand Class were built with Skywalkers above the aft of the ship, in a structure that was dubbed a shopping cart. I'm embarrassed to say this is the only pic I have of Caribbean and doesn't show the 'handle' very well:

The aft corner balconies are our favorite balcony class cabins. We usually grab C752 or C753 as the balcony is bigger. They have a near 270 degree view with a slight wrap around railing. They are sheltered, but may get some sun, and are almost always usable underway. Your cabin door is at the end of a small hallway so it's quiet.

Just booked the aft corner, were there security cameras on your balcony? If so, did it bother you?

When we sailed in C752 I certainly didn't notice any security cameras focused on our balcony.

Just wondering how I could pass a bottle of wine over the rail to a helpful Cruise Critic poster without having to pay a corkage fee. Do you know anyone?

Pick up the bottle. Carry it to your friend's cabin. Hand it to your friend. Mission accomplished.

Good to know. Thank you.

Thanks for clarifying that for me. Strange that Princess' web department lets this discrepancy occur.
