Drinks like water-- cheapest way

On Holland Eurodam, I read about two ways of getting drinks -- one is beverage card and other is some kind of daily fee for certain number of drinks. We drink water not carbonated. do we have to pay extra for this every time?

Bottled water is fee based

 

You can take a refillable water bottle & fill it in the Lido (use a glass)

You will have to pay for bottled water. You can carry some onboard if you wish. You can also drink the tap water, which is probably purer than what is in the bottles. EM

Once we get on the ship, we each buy a bottle of water and refill it as we need it.

Welcome to cruise critic.

 

You will find coffee, tea, milk, some juices, and of course water, free on the Lido decks. You can also ask for a glass of water at any bar.

 

This site has threads dedicated to each cruise line. If you go to the "boards home" page and scroll down, you will see the list of cruise line. If you click on the line for HAL you will find people asking questions or making comments specific to HAL. If you are new to sailing with HAL, you would be able to get a lot of information there.

 

In the same way, if you look on the home boards, you will also find dedicated sections for "port of calls". Each of the ships stops would be listed.
