Gratuity question

Recommended Posts

As mentioned, it is included at the time of your purchase. Tipping is very much discretionary. I feel that tipping extra and building rapport with certain bartenders (casino, dinner, etc.) works out well in the long run. By day two on our last cruise, our drinks were at our table in the MDR when we arrived with heart shaped straws for instance. We no longer had to ask for a specific liquor as oppose to house liquor at the casino. For us, it has always worked out in our favor. We don't drink heavily, we probably break even on the drink package. However, I like a simple vacation and the $1 - $2 extra dollars for a cumulative $85ish over the cruise is worth it us to make that happen.
