nelblu Posted August 19, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 19, 2018 In addition to the D Lounge service, the 3 drinks loaded to the Sea Pass can be used in Specialty Restaurants, MDR, bars and any entertainment venue.

I am also confused - why would you think Symphony is any diff than any other ship in terms of D+ drinks?

The Allure and Oasis have the Diamond Lounge on deck 11 nice view of the Aqua Theater. The Harmony and the Symphony have the Diamond Lounge on deck 4 no view at all. stobe1 Posted August 20, 2018 #9 Share Posted August 20, 2018 I would venture to assume that regardless of status, you are "allowed" or "permitted" to go anywhere for a drink on the ship. I'm confused by the question. Why you would be restricted to drinking anywhere, regardless of status??
spookwife Posted August 20, 2018 #10 Share Posted August 20, 2018 because D+ got booted out of the old Concierge Lounges when they were revamped into Suite Lounges. so the OP is, I assume, asking what Lounges Symphony has.

I'm confused by the question. Why you would be restricted to drinking anywhere, regardless of status?? Because the free drinks loaded on our sea pass cards are not good everywhere. Can't use them in the bionic bar and most ships no longer allow their use in the Champagne bar. Slowly but surely they are being honored in the MDR on most ships during the 3 hour window. No limit to appetizers and cocktails in the Diamond lounge or overflow venues. It is all about the word, free.

Havingfun2010 Posted August 20, 2018 #19 Share Posted August 20, 2018 We're D+ and are sailing on the Symphony. Where are we allowed to go for evening drinks on this ship? With your vast experience as D+, you should already know you can get evening drinks at any bar that is open!!!! If you are asking about your free drinks, I would think you would know that you need to go to the Diamond lounge. You could find that info once you get on the ship, and read your welcome letter explaining this. Works every time for me. As far as the 3 drinks, you will find the info in your welcome letter also. It will tell you where you can't go.....example MDR, raising tide bar etc.... The only exemption to the Diamond lounge is on the Empress and the Spectrum. Now, 99.5% of the people reading this will never go on the Spectrum. (I'm one of the 0.5% that will be visiting Shanghai next year on the ship). Havingfun2010 Posted August 21, 2018 #24 Share Posted August 21, 2018 You may not be correct about Spectum missing a Diamond lounge Follows the complete list of Spectrum of the Seas lounges, clubs and other entertainment venues for kids, teens and adults. Royal Theater (1299-seat, features 3D Movies, aerial acrobatic performances and Broadway-style productions) Music Hall (2-deck high live entertainment venue) (was reported that deck two might be used as Diamond lounge on the first sailing from Barcelona) Two70° Lounge (3-deck high relaxation observation lounge with live entertainment) Photo Gallery and Shop; SeaTrek Shop (diving equipment) Diamond Club Lounge and Bar (past guests only); Concierge Club and Lounge (suite- and past guests only); Golden Room / Card Room (Any room named Gold, is for Gold guests only. This ship has a special luxurious golden suite enclave that has private areas) Note: normally this areas is the diamond lounge, but on Spectrum, it was made into the Gold Room, and the High Rollers Casino) Bionic Bar, NorthStar Bar, Schooner Bar (piano bar); Sky Bar; Vintages Wine Bar Royal Esplanade (an area between the boutique shops and restaurants on decks 4 and 5; part of it is “The Via” with the Vintages wine bar, Port Merchants and Jamie’s) Casino Royale; Casino VIP - Part of where Diamond lounge would be if not in Asia Star Moment (Karaoke Room) Outdoor Movie Screen Cafe Promenade (24-hour; serves snacks and drinks, as well as Starbucks specialty coffee) This is not on Spectrum. Café Promenade was moved to pool deck and combined with Pizza. It is where Johnnie Rockets would be if not in Asia. In the space, it was made into an Asian Specialty restaurant. Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center Focus (Photo Gallery and Shop) Solarium lounge (includes Solarium Cafe, pool bar and adults only pool area); Solarium Bar Spectrum created this space, with locked doors, key access only for the luxurious golden enclave. The pool is for any age, providing you paid for access. Note, that the area also has balconies, for 3 times more money than a standard balcony. This is for the luxurious golden area. Video Games Arcade; The Living Room and Night Club teen areas; Royal Babies and Tots Nursery; Adventure Ocean kids lounge area; Workshop (family venue); H2O Zone family and kids area; Kung Fu Panda No place on the map is Kung Fu Panda. It does not exist on Spectrum. Café Promenade/pizza and special splash away café is where Kung Fu Panda/Johnny Rockets would be SeaPlex (largest at sea sports complex, with roller skating, bumper cars, circus school, full-sized basketball court); North Star; FlowRider (surf simulator); RipCord by iFly; Jogging Track; Rock-climbing Wall Sky Pad topdeck aft-located bungee trampoline with optional virtual reality gaming headsets. In Asia, the concept of being "diamond" or above does not exist. So as a passenger from America/Europe/Australia you will be part of the small 5% of people not from Asia. You might also be the only Diamond on the ship. Rumor has it that if a Diamond or above shows up, the ship, will take care of you, but don't expect a private lounge for you. (it would be quite lonely). Instead rumor is that you will be given access to the silver lounge or maybe the gold lounge and will have access to the gold area with your card. Also coastal Kitchen is part of the enclave, and is called the Gold dining room.

So glad to read your post! :) I called RCCL a few months ago asking if there was a Diamond Lounge and was told NO. We were bummed by this news. Hopefully what you are stating is true. Would be nice to get access to other lounges offered on the ship due to our status.
