AF-1 Posted August 29, 2018 #127 Share Posted August 29, 2018 Pia, I understand when you say there is long line for coffee. Every time I went there last year the line wrapped around the Piazza. Have a fun day
Minnesota_Nice Posted August 29, 2018 #128 Share Posted August 29, 2018 We are on Baja deck in a aft balcony and received our medallions yesterday, as well. Do you happen to know how quickly they are installing ***** on CB? We are on CB Oct 8th on Caribe deck just wondering if they will make it to the Caribe deck by then? We are on CB Oct 8th on Caribe deck just wondering if they will make it to the Caribe deck by then? It has been a deck or 2 per cruise. Caribe should be by next cruise. You should be good by the time you sail.

I am not technologically savvy enough to understand the installation process. BTW, remember the small seating area outside of Fusion? Pia1913 Posted August 29, 2018 Author #134 Share Posted August 29, 2018 I knew I shouldn't have gotten off, but you know what they say about curiousity. I'd been to Belize before, but had no recall. All I needed to see when we landed was Diamonds International and I knew where I was. There are many more stores here than in the past; all basically the same; souvenirs amongst the jewelry. Tender ride over took about 20 minutes; back less than 15. I never want to experience this "captain" again. I thought I had given up roller coasters years ago, but he made it all come back. Lots of passengers looking very nervous as the boat bobbed up and down at an enormous speed. Love to be back here on my big airconditioned ship. There are two other ships in Belize; both Carnival. The Glory is still with us and Miracle has been added. I wonder who our neighbors will be tomorrow in Cozumel. So what's happening tonight? For me, it's the most traveled cocktail party at 7:30. And since it's formal night, good thing I brought contingency clothes. It's no smoking night in the casino, MUTS is showing Jumanji and production show Fantastic Journey is in the theater. Past 9:00 PM there will be an adult only comedy show in Fusion and conflicting with this is the Marriage Game in Explorer's. Couldn't they have scheduled these things differently so that passengers could attend both? That's about it for now. I still have trivia at 4:00. :D

I thought I had given up roller coasters years ago, but he made it all come back. Lots of passengers looking very nervous as the boat bobbed up and down at an enormous speed. Love to be back here on my big air-conditioned ship. I wonder if it was the same person we had on a tender ride. We were just about to leave and the man in charge of everything that's under the Captain (can't remember his title), jumped on the tender and told the usual driver to move. Then he took the tender to shore. He looked mad, maybe had a problem on shore? Drove like a bat out of #*$@. Everyone on the tender was hanging on as best they could. I felt sorry for the people on the top deck. When we got to shore he literally slammed the tender into the dock, jumped up and left.

So do we have to do anything to get ***** like register or anything? Or is it just in your cabin if your room is equipped? When decks were completed onboard some cabins had someone come to the cabin to deliver them.

dstables Posted August 29, 2018 #143 Share Posted August 29, 2018 It's early Wednesday morning and we are anchored somewhere outside of Belize. Carnival Glory has been following us all the way; wonder if she's here too. For some reason I actually heard the pilot boat a few hours ago - very unusual since it was still the middle of the night. Remember, we are currently on mountain time. Until we have to go switcheroo again. For those unfamiliar with this area, here's a little info: Belize, formerly the colony of British Honduras, is the only country in Central America without a coastline on the Pacific Ocean (only the Caribbean Sea to its east), and the only one in the region with English as its official language. The country is located between Guatemala to the west and south and Mexico to the north. Offshore, the massive Belize Barrier Reef, dotted with hundreds of low-lying islands called cayes, hosts rich marine life. Belize’s jungle areas are home to Mayan ruins and is also a major bird watching destination. A few facts: The black orchid is the national flower The mahogany tree is the national tree The keel-billed toucan is the national bird On board today is a big nothing. Spa moneymakers, pickleball, charades, pictionary; you get the idea. There's a Cheryl Crow concert on MUTS at 5:00 which coincides with time of the last tender leaving shoreside. I'll be back later after I get my thoughts organized. I need a little more caffeine. Welcome back Pia. So sorry for your loss. Your presence here on Princess Cruise Critic boards has been surely missed. I love you “live threads”. You have a wonderful way with words and you give us all such great information. Enjoy your travels!

Thrak Posted August 29, 2018 #146 Share Posted August 29, 2018 Love nothing cruises. :D:cool::D Have a relaxing day! Agree. Our favorite cruise to date was the 28 day Hawaii/South Pacific cruise. 18 of those 28 days were sea days. We love the sea days and find port intensive cruises draining. (Of course it was kind of nice that we had the Sip and Sail on that one.)

jefa Posted August 29, 2018 #149 Share Posted August 29, 2018 Thanks Pia for your blog, and so sorry to hear of your loss. I was on the CB back in April, when it was supposed to be *****, but wasn't. Never mind, I found the internet worked well for me then, but would have liked all the other services, especially opening the stateroom door when you are pushing someone in a wheelchair and trying to stop your wine spilling! Glad you had hot weather in Roatan, when I was was there a couple of years ago the rain came down in sheets, like something I had never seen before! ellie1145 Posted August 29, 2018 #150 Share Posted August 29, 2018 Wakeview Bar exists only on the Sapphire Princess and Diamond Princess. It is accessible from the back of Club Fusion on deck 7 but is downstairs on deck 6. We were on Diamond in January and the Wake View Bar was full of old chairs. Seems like it was a graveyard for broken and decrepit chairs. All piled up. Seemed a bit odd to us.
