Can you use your classic drink pkg. to order Wine from room service to enjoy a glass in your cabin ?

No, but send your travel buddy to a bar to get the drink of your choice. Same thing, just no tipping required. :)

Your beverage package covers nothing from room service, however you may get drinks from anywhere to take back and enjoy in your room.

Nope...drink packages can't be used for room service or "mini-bar" items.

Should you choose to pick up a glass of wine from a bar, one person can get two glasses if they have both sea passes. No need for both of you to leave the room and head to a bar.

I bring a covered plastic container and get 2 glasses early in the day and transfer them to the container. Then it goes in the fridge for the rest of the day and is ready to drink when I retire at night. No lugging bottles on board for me.

Does that make it taste odd? Do you drink it from the plastic or pour back into a glass?

I have noticed no change in taste. I put a wine glass back into the fridge to use when I decide to drink it. I have also used an Al Baccio paper cup (washed out of course) and covered with the lids provided there.
