Now that I have scoped out the surroundings I know where to take little bits to see the fish.

After some UN style negotiations she heads over to snorkel (along with her laundry list of tariffs)

Notice a trend here??? Yeah this was not our finest hour and she was not letting go of those stairs. Luckily, there were decent fish right there for her to see.

This was a total "Dad Fail" when I look back. I should have let her snorkel in the little beach area and then move out into the big water slowly. I was blinded by the lights. To my defense we did good in the pool and I did not know that the beach area was open to the big water at that rime. Regardless I'm already in the bonus. Better luck last time.

She went back over to mama and I continued my quest. Next thing I know mama is flagging me down from the shore.

Lil bits got bit by some bug that punctured her skin. At this point we packed it up and headed in. Our Epic Day was not to be.

Chankanaab has a lot of things that you can do and is great for the entire family. Will definitely be going back there next Christmas Family Cruise!!!

We're back home now picking up the pieces of our life we left behind - Paying for meals, slummin it, etc.

Tonight's dinner was Jersey's Finest Chain Sub Restaurant.

Gone are the melt in your mouth filet mignon, succulent grilled fish dishes, endless escargot, etc. Just the regular old food for mere mortals from this point forward.

And you know mama done gave me the "I triple dogg dare you to leave that towel in the center of the floor" speech on the train ride home [emoji35] . This aint her first rodeo either (eyes roll) Problem is I can't even call corporate on her [emoji12].

Sad that your cruise has ended but looking forward to hearing about the rest of it. Hope lil bits is okay after the bug bite. And very funny pic of mama holding her hand out for your wallet in the store!
I did not even notice that until you pointed it out [emoji6]. Yes lil bits is just fine. No swelling or bruising.

Meet Orlando.

This guy gets the "Best Overall Service Provided" award! He was so personable and attentive.

Funny thing is after we met him we ran into him everyday for the remainder of the cruise. Kinda like you get a new car and then all of a sudden you keep seeing that same make and model on your daily commute.

OMG today was brutal!

By show of hands who can tell me what was the average time I got up every morning?

.

.

.

.

Not everyone at once.

.

.

.

.

That being said, I should have had no trouble getting up. However, I hit the snooze like 3 times today. I begrudgingly slothed my way to work today.

Shush - If mama asks lil bit did this [emoji12]

Back to our story.

As we were eating our meal the guy came over and asked teeny how her sushi class went. She whips out her pics for show and tell. He is so impressed he brings the Head Chef of 150 out to meet her.

He too was impressed with her skills and interest in cooking to the point he offered her (us) free entrance into the galley brunch tour. We had already paid for the tour but it was a very generous gesture. He still insisted we join his group during the tour. We happily accepted. Lil bits was all smiles.

It’s a bummer to get back to reality! And quite different to wKe up to an ocean view. I don’t blame you for hitting the snooze button. Can’t wIt for the galley brunch!
The tour was nice. A much larger version of the industrial kitchens I grew up in.
Can I just say that this may be my favorite live blog ever? Your daughter, the future sushi chef, is precious. Thank you so much for letting me tag along with your family!
Thanks for following along.
