Next we hit up the black light puppet show in adventure ocean theater.

 

 

Full disclosure - Ya Boy was Nodding Something Serious! I jerked so hard one time I asked the hostess for a whiplash brace. I'm sure the lady behind me had a good laugh or two at my expense. That's if she was not nodding herself.

 

Don't judge me. The room was pitch black and the ship had a gentle rock. COME ON MAN!

 

Once the show was over I tapped out and begged lil bits for an intermission. I wooed her with the promise of unlimited internet access.

 

Deal Daddy!

 

Little did I know she was just as tuckered out. Mama said we had a race to be the first one asleep soon as we hit the room.

Our next event of the day was dinner at Chops.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We could not decide what we wanted so the waitress just brought us 1 of each.

 

By far we enjoyed the bacon the most.

After dinner we goofed around Central Park then road the rising tide bar down to the Pramenade.

 

 

 

 

I wanna be like mommy!

 

Waterfront at night is always so calming.

 

 

After that we called it an evening so we could be ready for Cozumel!

Cozumel -

 

This morning I got up a little earlier than normal. This gave me the opportunity to fufill one of my cruise go to's - Catch a Sunrise on film.

 

 

Unfortunately the boat was docking and the clouds were low in the sky, so I really did not catch it in all it's glory.

 

I then met up with the girls and we hopped off the boat for port pics. Then we jumped right back on. This time there was a line to get people off but it was flowing like the river.

 

We had a couple boardwalk donuts followed by some bfast in the wipeout cafe.

When we exit the boat the lines are just like we like em - GONE!

 

We have a fun filled day at Chankanaab so there was no lollygagging aroung the port.

 

This was to be my epic day of snorkeling!

 

Backdrop. We never did it before but YouTube has prepared me 100%. Mama flat out said "NO" but yall already knew that right? Lil bits said no but was jealous I did not get her any gear - semi win for daddy.

 

Thank God for Prime!!!

 

We did dry runs at home and a live simulation in the hotel pool night before the trip. Things were looking up but - HOLD MY BEER!

Guess what time it is?

 

Time to give up the ship to the next run of passengers. It's always bitter sweet for me on disembarkation.

Back to Chankanaab -

 

The sealion show was nice but the presentation was not in English so it was like watching TV with the sound off for me - a little hard to follow.

 

Afterwards mama took up residence next to the pool and I got suited up for snorkeling. Lil bits wanted to swim in the pool first (only). So be it, not going to waste precious time negotiating with a pre-teen at this moment.

 

 

These pics do not do this setting much justice. Also, I saw some much prettier fish on video. Just need to process all that for the good stuff.

 

Pro Tip (Ha Ha Ha - He does it one time now he is a pro) - if you use a full face snorkel mask with a gopro tilt it 30 degrees down to keep it under the water. Glad I had my wrist mount going cause the head shot video is garbage for the most part.
