Refundable OBC

Can you please tell me which type of OBC is refundable at the end of the cruise, if not all OBC is used?  We will have OBC from RCCL, Travel Agent and RCC Credit Card.  I am not sure if we will spend all of the OBC and hoping that some will be refundable if it is not used.

Thank You!

OBC from RCCL is not refundable.  OBC from TA and credit card is refundable.

OBC from a TA is refundable if it truly is given by the TA.  Some TA OBC is actually a pass-through from RC.  Ask your TA.

They use nonrefundable first.

Thanks.  Another question - if one has both unused refundable and non-refundable OBC, can you use some of that OBC at the casino by getting cash (less their 5% service charge)?

You can get cash at the casino.  Unless you have a cash account you will pay the  5% service charge.  Just did this last week on the AL.  DON'T mention you want to take out OBC just ask for x amount of dollars to be put on your Seapass card.

It would be good to have more details about this.

I agree I'm not really following his story.  No one can get cash out for gambling?  How can you use your SeaPass at the tables?  More info please

It is loaded as promo $ to your seapass card for slots - so only your winnings will produce a cash slip! :classic_angry:

Have no intel on tables yet...

Are you referring to the free $5 promo?

Do you get that on the OA and AL?  I thought about it but never did check.  Only used it once or twice and don't even recall the process.  Did not see any mention of it in the Compass's

I think it's a letter in your stateroom.  Laura doesn't get it since shes Prime.  Not the same as what MJ did.  Similar process though.  Go to a machine, hit banker,  put in birthdate

Use the OBC for your tips

Need to be creative on how I can cash out some of the OBC I will get on a Jan 2019 Cruise on the Freedom.  Of the $550 OBC, $500 is non-refundable.   My TA is paying for gratuities, so that is not an option.  On prior cruises, I have taken cash out at the casino.

All on Red, or 250 on Red, 250 on Black and 50 split between the greens.

Thought about something like that, but I am not a gambler.

Going safe route, it red or black come up you lose $50. If green comes up I think you make $200. It was free money, so have fun

Sounds like you can still get cash if you are playing table games.
