Oh Harmony of the Seas this past June I could get "The Botanist" gin which is amazing.  I'm surprised at the meager selection of gins.  Oh, well.  I'm still a bourbon gal even if a dear friend is trying to convert me to gin (and it's working!).

I wish they had fever tree tonic, but I get why they don't. I'll remind hubby he can get diet tonic.

Love the Botanist.

I think you will find the range of gins is perhaps two or three with Star of Bombay at the top.... not quite what is available in many UK gin bars with twenty or thirty to choose from with Star of Bombay near the bottom......(Tanqueray ten is in  a different league compared to  Star of Bombay)...

I had a long discussion with Jamie Pett in Michael's last year and we agreed that the US had a long way to go to catch up with the UK gin scene

Spot on as a gin drinker from the UK the selection of Gin on Celebrity is really poor compared to what is normally available in even a average bar back home, if you have the Premium package they do have Tanquary 10 which is OK but no where near as nice as many others that they could have. Always kind of surprises me they have the Vodka selection which to be honest I never see many people useing that much and again from a UK point of view Gin is now by far more popular and up and coming drink than Vodka. As can be seen in any UK city with the amountbof bars now specialising in Gin,  that's just my view however it is what it is and it won't stop me enjoying my cruise when I join the ship on Friday.

Here’s a suggestion for the G&T drinkers. I know you can bring on soda on board. How about stopping at a store before you board your ship and buy the Fevertree Tonic of your choice. Bring your bottle to the bar and your bartender can use it to mix your cocktail?  It might be a hassle, but at least you’ll be enjoying your drink of choice during the cruise. We’ve done this at an All Inclusive when they didn’t have all of the ingredients for my DW’s favorite martini.

DH is very fussy about his G&Ts. We may try bringing on some Fevertree on our NYE Edge Cruise. At the very least he asks the bartender to use canned or bottled tonic and to open a new one for him as he will be having more than one. The tonic out of the bar gun is usually not good. We also give an extra tip to go with the request.
