If you read my review last time you may remember a night where I wanted to go to the nightclub and couldn’t because they reserved it for crew that night and gave guests the aft part of lido deck which was difficult to get to the way they blocked it off to keep minors out. And that part was unusable as a dance club because the deck was wet. I don’t recall seeing this on other ships. I thought maybe it’s a once a month thing and I got the unlucky week. Well I’m guessing it’s a weekly deal here because it’s going on tonight. But now they’re concealing what it is by covering all of the windows on the night club and putting the private party sign out instead of crew members only. And they’ve moved the outdoor night club from lido to serenity. I don’t know maybe it’s great on serenity. I know last time there was only like 5 people out there. I had no intention of going to the nightclub tonight but I’m not a fan of taking away guest areas during their peak times. Let the crew have it 2am-10pm...let them have it those hours

7 days a week if you want. But let the guests have it 10pm-2am every night they paid for.

I wanted something different than pizza tonight and the pizza place on Dream doesn’t have the late night meatball sub or lasagna options they had on breeze, Freedom and Triumph. They do have some type of late night option in the buffet so I decided to check it out. They had pans of sandwiches, cookies, and some kind of pasta. I got the meatball and the grilled ham and cheese sandwiches. Not bad. Not as good as that pizza place lasagna...but not bad.

Good morning from Mahogany Bay!

We’re in port with a friend I was recently separated from...Carnival Breeze I’ve been here on Freedom and Breeze—always parked where Breeze is now. You really can’t see the beach from this spot. We’ll check it out later. I bet it will be packed with two big ships in port.

I went to the coffee shop this morning and remembered to try the holiday coffee...but the sign was gone! I was informed they had no water pressure so they only have regular and iced coffee. I went with the regular, Black like at home.

This is regular coffee is so hot it was burning my hand through the cardboard thing. I picked up a couple of paper towels from guys bbq and it was still burning my hand. This coffee should come with a warning “don’t pickup or drink for 30 minutes.”

I hate the rush to get off the ship on port days. I like to take my time. That’s why I booked this 12:30 glass bottom boat excursion. I can take my time. Drink my coffee (after it cools off for an hour). Have a leisurely breakfast...and maybe a drink.

Tomorrow I’m going to have to get up early for the Belize tender and my Mayan ruins excursion. Fortunately tonight is the night the comedians and dancers are off. Maybe I can get to bed a little early. I will never understand why they have both off the same night. Tonight is also the off night for the ocean plaza band and the piano bar player (I’m told). It’s crazy. Why not have comedy in the main lounge on the dancers night off and have a big main show on the comedians night off?

I got to watch a lot of the President Bush funeral in the room while getting ready and eating breakfast. I don’t have to be 100% separated from reality here.

Trying to get a Bloody Mary.  Nobody was in the casino bar. I went to the atrium bar and the wait is ridiculous. I guess the coffee machine is working down here so all of the crew are coming here for coffee.

Uploading photos is sloooow right now. It may take awhile to get caught up.

I want to say that ski lift thing is $14 for the day. On the other side of the bridge they have a place where you can rent lockers or various aquatic conveyances.

WiFi is $5 for the day.

Let me interrupt this upload for an announcement. This lady at the Alchemy has her hand bandaged up and says she got bit by a tiger at little French key. I wonder if she’s an Alabama fan.

This is happening now. A Maria drink.
