I'm getting ready to renew my drivers license and have to go in person and bring a LOT of proof of ID and residence  YIKES

That is because of REAL ID requirements.

Citizenship and residency proof required.  I just did this last week.

Same here - I used my passport for 3 of the 5 required document categories.  I understand security but this is becoming exhausting.

I wonder if I can used my enhanced DL to renew my PP in a couple years.  🙂

It is to my understanding that Gold members get priority boarding.

I'm a gold member, my wife will be a first time cruiser, but since we're in the same room. I'm assuming that she'll priority boarding as well?

Call the C&A 1-800-526-9723 and have your wife linked to you. She will receive her own C&A number.

Yes but call C&A now and get her linked and she will be gold with you on this cruise.

I will only say, have her sign up on her own card and enjoy your future cruises together. When you level up, you can always link your accounts.    I find there are not a lot of benefits until you get up to the upper tiers. (Emerald/Diamond/Diamond plus/Pinnacle)

The priority boarding for Gold members is simply boarding before non C&A members.  All other levels will be called before that.

For me, priority boarding is no real big deal at all...unless there is a hold up to regular boarding for some reason.  Usually by the time we get checked in at the terminal, general boarding (non C&A) has already begun.  Not too often we have to sit in the terminal, pretty much just walk right on.

Indeed, as others have mentioned...call C&A and have your wife linked to you.  My sister's new husband cruised as a Diamond level member for his first cruise, since she linked him to her reservation.

No, you use your old passport. 😄

At least, if you don't let it expire for more than 5 years.
