Amazing with The Key you go in suite door!! Threw security in 2 min. When you go to check in tell them your The Key they take you around the lines. From entering the building to upstairs to wAit it was 15 min.

It must depend on what you are viewing them on.

On Tapatalk, there is a wide space between photos.

On the web version on an iPhone and iPad, using Safari, there is a narrower space.

On a computer, using Firefox, there isn’t any space.

It must be a function of how the photos are handled on each device.

I thought I would check other devices, since I didn’t see any problem on Tapatalk.

Waiting on Grease to start!! Loving The Key so far walked up to door showed card and they escorted us to our section!! Hopefully later tonight I’ll highlight the day if not I’ll do it early in the morning!

Be on the lookout for a wild newly retired lady and her posse!  Six women and one brave guy are celebrating our neighbor's retirement from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania aboard Harmony this week.

Recap of Day 1

After staying at Ramada Inn overnight. Had the buffet at the hotel. It was decent the usual waffles,eggs,sausage and fruit. My free shuttle to the port was scheduled at 9:30 but since everyone was there early we left the hotel at 9:20. It took 25 minutes only because we had to wait 10 min on a train on Marina drive to pass. Once at the port the porters had the bags before we got off the bus. Tipped the porter $10 for 2 bags. Walked to the door and asked where people with The Key go they directed us to the door where the suite guest go threw security. Took 3 minutes to get threw there. After a bit of confusion about where we and 4 other people check in at a agent came and got us took us around the people standing in line to a agent of our own. 3 min later we were ready to go up stairs. But my sister lost her cell phone in her pocket book!!!!! After her having a 2 min panic attack she found it. Up stairs The key has a waiting area beside the suite guest. No padded seats or flavored water like them. After a 10 min wait we were called to board right after the suite people!!!!! So The Key people board before The pinnacle and Diamond plus Guest. We were actually on board Harmony at 10:31 am. That’s the earliest I’ve ever been on a ship. A agent told we could go to our room at noon. That is the only thing that The Key failed on for us. Talked to someone later that’s had it and said they let them go to theirs must of been my floor 11 that was behind cleaning. No biggie.

So we had a hour to kill before lunch at chops!!! So wondered around the ship. It was so crazy riding elevators for 30 min with no one on them other than me and Vicki. That changed in a hurry. We took lots of picture without the mass of humanity that would show up very soon and the elevators became the usual mess that ships this size encounter. The biggest issue on these ships is the elevators on these. They needed to figure a way to put a 3rd set of elevators in the middle of the ship. Well enough of this rant!!! Back to the good stuff. We showed up at Chops at 11:30 and we’re promptly seated. The lunch menu was reduced from the dinner menu. Not sure if was different from normal lunch may look tomorrow. It was excellent!!! I had The caesar salad and filet. We had all the sides mac and cheese.mashed potatoes and asparagus. I had the warm chocolate cake. After there we went to the room. Nice room just like on Allure. Room 11723. The slide does block the view off the back of the ship but still can see the ocean and the wake. Should be able to see the show from the balcony but if your more than 6 cabins back you will have to lean over to see.

Before the safety drill took Vicki on a stroll around to see the pool deck since she has never been on this class of ships. The safety drill is so much better now a days. The standing on deck or somewhere with a life jacket on sucked. Our station was the Aqua Theatre. The new video is actually entertaining with the lady being a James Bond type showing the dos and don’t of the ship. After the drill went back to the room to watch sail away and get ready for dinner since we had Grease tonight. So we had a 5:30 reservation in the MDR we have Silk dinning room.

Dinner was good not great. The calamari was barely warm so it was like trying to eat shoe leather!! Now the French Onion soup was amazing. It was the hottest soup I’ve ever had on a ship it was cheesy goodness!!! Had the prime Rib i ordered it Medium Rare so it would come medium. Ive learned over past cruises to order it one type rarer than you want. Came out a perfect medium had the creme bur-lay. We were back in the room by 7:30.

Grease
It was good no where near MaMa Mia on Allure. The singers were good. But compared to the talent doing mama on allure not close. Plus grease loses something going to the stage movie is much better. But that being said i would recommend it.

After the show we wondered into On Air. Wow i was blown away at the people singing in there. Was the best group of Karaoke I’ve ever heard on a ship or on land. I will try to post a clip of some of them singing.

Ended up getting a couple of slices of pizza for a snack. There is alway room for pizza.

Well that does it for our first day on the Amazing Harmony of The Seas!!!!!! Ill be back in the morning. Thanks for reading my horrible writing.
