To the pool?😀

Reminds me of a crossing the equator for the first time and the ice sculpture they had fell into the pool. Took 3 men and several attempts to get it out again. I am sure the pool did get a bit cooler.

After fourteen cruises I can honestly say I have never noticed a chlorine smell in ship water, and I have sensitive olfactory nerves. If it does bother just leave your bottle open in the fridge overnight and any chlorine should dissipate into the atmosphere.  This is why you have to keep adding chlorine to swimming pools.

That's sort of what I do. I just keep a glass filled each time, and by the time I drink it, it's both room temperature and if there are chlorine additives they have evaporated.

Well that's done it - coffee spat all over the keyboard!   LMAO!!!!

As an aside, does anyone have chlorinated pools anymore?  All the domestic ones I know of are salt water.

Well the salt water pools still have chlorine in them. they just use a salt water chlorinator which is much more efficient and effective.

I was typing a reply to that post when this came through but you've said it better. I have a salt water pool with chlorinator and the only time I add extra chlorine is when winterising. Back on topic, hmmm, what was the topic?

Yet another school day thanks to the inexhaustible knowledge of Mic.  😀
