Rare Astromaid Posted March 9, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 9, 2019 Carnival has a clothes line you can stretch across in the shower to hang wet clothes, does Royal have this? Specifically asking about Jewel of the Seas.

Rare colesc15 Posted March 9, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 9, 2019 Symphony was the first royal ship I've been on that didn't have a clothes line

Rare brillohead Posted March 9, 2019 #10 Share Posted March 9, 2019 I prefer magnetic hooks hung from the ceiling by the air vent... the moving air really helps with getting things dry, compared to the no-air shower. These are the magnets I use: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0787Q54M1 1
RazorbackIslandGirl Posted March 9, 2019 #11 Share Posted March 9, 2019 I'm with Brillohead. The magnetic hooks are the best way to get a bathing suit dry! Much better than the bathroom where the humidity is high. They are also handy to hang other things on as well.

There are 2 odd looking clothes hangers, but no line
Rare island lady Posted March 9, 2019 #15 Share Posted March 9, 2019 (edited) Had one on Oasis last week. I use that and the magnet hooks. If I need to hand wash an item on a longer or B2B cruise, I hang it in the shower until it is drip dry, then transfer it to a magnet hook in the cabin. Don't need to leave a puddle on the carpet for the cabin attendant. 😉 Edited March 9, 2019 by island lady 2

I'm sure everyone has experienced that in a hotel at least once. It is a horrible smell & hard to get rid of. Happens a lot in Florida hotels. Wet clothes, hot weather & high humidity, bad combo! So NO dripping clothes please!

Several fleece pullovers to hand wash. 😉 Edited March 9, 2019 by island lady

Worked very well indeed, and for the DH's flannel shirts too. We had to pack light with all the transfers we did up there, plus would not want to send those out to RCI ship's washers...would come back as doll clothes. 😉

That works also, though there are times that the ship does not want you to leave things on the balcony. "Hey honey...its that my swim suit flying out to sea?"
